@mindkrafter thank you again I took what you did and put in a .png by it's self and changed the glass door,Here it is if anyone wants it 128x
Now I'm having issues with the glass blocks I've changed them to 128x128 and put them in a 2048x2048 .png but they come up as white blocks in NIE.See picture.not sure what's wrong.

It looks like the texture file isn't being recognized.
Check that the file is still named terrain.png and that it actually is a .png file.
What I do, and may be your best bet is to just resize all of the default texture files inside of the mod's zip file to 2048. The default textures will still look the same in game and then you can just add you 128 textures to the pack as you go. (it's much better this way now there are only 3 files)
eg.
Just put a few makeshift stained glass textures as an example
I do remember a request for torches at some point, so I figured why not
I have made some with particles like regular torches and some without that are good for lights/lamps. Will be in 1.9.
Y'know, these remind me of FancyPack - one of the best home decor mods ever that unfortunately died around 1.0.0. I remember they had craftable paper lanterns you could hang from the ceiling, either directly or from chains. Would it be possible to allow one of your new torches to be posted to the ceiling please? And errr.. if you're short on suggestions, I have a few other ones I could toss out (but have refrained on account of still being in awe you actually filled all my previous ones).

Oh I suppose
I will most likely do a release with torches tomorrow, figured I better get a release of the Boombox out for 1.3.1 today!
And yeh, feel free to post more suggestions, I don't mind
Still can't seem to figure out the glass problem.Would it be possible to have a look at it for me and also could you add more doors since i've used up the 5 slots all ready thank you.

Here you go, it should work for you now.
Not sure what was wrong for you, unless you were trying to use the file named terrain-4. It is very important that you maintain the original name associated to that particular terrain.png, as that is the name the mod looks for.
And yes I could add a few more doors if needed.

That looks good! Would fit really well with the candles I'm using from another mod. Thank you!
And as for suggestions.. let me poll the citizens on my server before I post I feel selfish only tossing out ideas of my own accord, hehe
Thank you so much I'll change texture to the new format and those cakes
I was wondering if you can add torches and maybe glow blocks that looks like grass (I mean, two plain textures 90º crossed) That would be perfect for making lamps, chandeliers, etc.
Oh, and I want to ask you about something really new for SMP. I'm breaking my head trying to find something that shows the items. There are Risugami's stands (perfect, but not SMP nor Forge), there are a mod that adds plates when you can place the food, but, again, not SMP, and last (and the best I think) there are a mod that add statues and display cases (but, sadly, no SMP)
If you could add that for Forge SMP, that would be perfect for the shops we use for trading.
you obviously didn't see the post directly above yours
Not sure about the other stuff, i will look into it.
I already have several models made and working in game, it's just figuring out how to get them to work in SMP.
Hopefully soon
Oh, those torches will be in the 1.9 update later today, maybe a few more doors for you too!
1.9 released.
Added another 3 doors by request and tweaked damage settings for all doors.
Added 8 torches/lamps. All can be placed on ceilings so you can retexture how you like.
3 have particles the other 5 just glow.

That green cauldron is boss Awesome work dude!
I have found one potential exploit though - upon breaking just the diamond and obsidian doors, you get two in return. The other new items are fine though. Also, the new torches don't seem to place on RedPower microblocks (tile entities? I'm no coder so I don't know how it works, just thought I'd mention). That last one's minor though. Thanks again!

Aha, thanks! I haven't even had a chance to play with this version other than some quick testing. I didn't notice the double drop.
Should be an easy fix though, I should be able to sort out the placement issue too
@mindkrafter I don't know how much of a pain in the ass it would be but if it's too much trouble don't bother, but would it be possible to add a second download with the old format with all the separate floders in it?I tried to add all my textures to the new format and I guess I didn't put them in the right spots and it changed the blocks in game.I had a world save so it was good I just put the old 1.4 mod back in and everything is fine.Like I said if it's a pain in the ass or if not enough people would want it don't bother it's ok.Thank you

Yeh, that would be a pain. It's just too much code to have to do twice, but you should find the layout that I am working on much easier to navigate. I was hoping to include it with today's release but there is still a lot more code to change to match everything up.
Take a peek here

ok that looks good would be much easier to find out what blocks go where. Is it gonna have a caption under each block to show what it is or is that just for demonstration.I hope I'm not being too much of a bother for you. This is such a great mod to have for builders like myself and map makers.I just don't want you to feel you have to fulfill every request and constantly put out updates and get burned out.

"Today's release" - you are a machine
Well I was reading around before work tonight and found this article: http://minecraftmodcustomstuff.wikia.com/wiki/Liquid#comm-3550
It talks about retexturing custom liquids - I don't know if this was a hurdle you came across or not and probably knew this information already, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to post anyhow.

I will have a set of high detailed pics like the example, that can be used as reference and something along the lines of a colored key legend for the actual terrain.png (as it's impossible to write the names in a 16x16 grid)
Something like this, I'm thinking!
As you can see, it's pretty hard to make the writing any smaller and still have it be legible.
To type in every blocks name would not be feasible, but something like this would at least give you an idea of where all the blocks sit and still allow you to not have to cross reference a duplicate of the original.
Another thing that I have realized in regard to the layout of the doors, is that if I was to make them sit atop each other (as in a full door)
like I showed in the example picture, I would have to have the doors in a separate folder so as to avoid a mass id change (no biggie, I guess)
Anyway, I hope to have it all implemented soon.
And don't worry, I don't feel pressured or anything. I appreciate all suggestions, requests and feedback, good or bad. It all goes to making the mod better and I would rather spend a bit of free time here and there doing this, than watching crap on the zombie box...

Yep, liquids are pretty restrictive in what you can do with them, I spent hours trying to change some of the settings using every method I could find, to no avail. That's why in the end I just decided to hardcode the water and use float values to change the color instead of image files. That in itself has problems, as you are restricted to the colors you can use. The blue of the water and red of the lava are ever-present so it's more a case of color blending.
Anyway, I have the day off and have two hours to kill before I pick my son up from school, so I might have a play with some code.
Too wet outside to do anything else today anyway.
Edit: I forgot to say that I fixed the double door drop.
@mindkrafter ok cool.since you are open to suggestions is it possible to make a full block sit properly on a half block or to make a half block placeable on the upper side of a block instead of just the lower half like in the game.
I'm not sure about that, i use Sushens slabs and stairs fix to remedy that issue, but unfortunately my slabs and stair don't work with it. (Yet!).
It's funny that you mention slabs because I finally got the code for double slab placement sorted last night and will be in today's release.
v2.0
Added the ability for DIY slabs to form DIY Slab blocks.
The slab block can not be crafted, it is only obtainable by stacking two of the same type slabs together.
Just use the same textures on both sets of purple templates in the "diyblocks" folder.
On a side note, it seems that the bug where 2 doors are dropped, is present in all the doors if you destroy the top half.
I can't find an obvious solution right now, I have a possible fix but it may have to wait until Friday.
Now I'm having issues with the glass blocks I've changed them to 128x128 and put them in a 2048x2048 .png but they come up as white blocks in NIE.See picture.not sure what's wrong.
