I go to the standard achievement button area but when I click on the Minecraft button[which is used to change achievement listings] nothing happens I get the small pop-ups if i get one in this mod but I can't look at the full list.
I'm not sure if the Mine & Blade Battlegear mod would cause an error in that small area[I do have it listed after this mod in the McPatcher(load order)]

Heh, pretty cool way to make your first post! Welcome to the forums Bilisk.
If you haven't gotten into the more advanced crafting with the armors yet, you're gonna LOVE it.
And yeah, to use a rune, you right click with it in your hand, it opens up a GUI. Put in the item you want enchanted and a rune, and if the rune can be applied to the item, it instantly enchants it. It's a neat system.
Ah, my bad, I misread what you said before. And yeah, once you start using more mods, you'll probably start chiming in more. It helps modders if they get an intelligent comment from users about their mod!
Yeah, a runeforge would be neat!
Perhaps if Anonymous likes the idea, a possibility would be to upgrade the anvil by infusing it with the magic essence, preferably on another anvil using an ornate hammer, to make a "Rune Forge" that glows like the enchantment effect does on weapons? Then we would have to make all the runes on this anvil, and must use an ornate hammer? I think then having to hammer the rune into a given weapon or item might be too much, but doable. Perhaps an upgrade to the Forge too, and this upgraded forge can act like the iron+coal=steel except it would be tool/weapon+rune=X and require embers or blaze powder to meld the rune into the item. Might be hell to code all of that though...
Another possible problem I see is I recall Anonymous has had some difficulties hard-coding recipes into the anvil, but since it would be strictly his mod stuff, I suppose its doable like all the weapons and the plate sets.
Don't except Anonymous to be doing anything anytime soon though, he's focusing on another mod and has put this one on hold for now.
The hammer thing is a Minecraft issue, it happens even with vanilla stuff. Eventually, they'll break for good.
I've noticed the tanning rack thing; it also happens with the anvil. I think it has to do with how Minecraft loads blocks that aren't full sized by orienting them along a specific axis (say, for example, they'll always load N-S as opposed to E-W).
Not sure about the cured hide thing. If you didn't know: one hide ball turns into 4 cured hides, and 1 cured hide turns into 2 leather. It may be that you didn't notice you had 4 cured hides, not 1?
I taned the other 3 just befor that, that's why I noticed it. And there was no number, so it was just one. Maybe it conflicted somehow with another mod (Atmos mob mod), because a bit later I wasn't able to craft an item of the other mod.
Could be a mod item conflict. I have both of those mods working together without a problem, so changing the item ids shouldn't be hard.
hey anonymousproductions can you make an add on for mine and blade battlegear mod and add forged battleaxes and spears and all those weapons from that mod?

DOG BOWL! (hardy, har,r,r,r,r,r,r,r,r,r,r,r,r,r) Yeah, man, I HAD to say it.
Was just way too easy.

BTW, I like those new mobs in the test version- it's rather unusual to fight in that it doesn't get knocked back so it adds a nice change of pace to battles. No running and crit-jumping into those things!
I can't seem to see the achievements that this game provides.

so.. when i get back to this i'm in for some changes
