Im getting an odd issue where the grid is misaligned... So when I craft something it goes into an inventory space that doesn't exisit and I need to move it by hand. Here is a pic... http://imgur.com/7pqq3
hey, I am getting a lot of lag when I move items in my inventory when the crafting table iii is opened, and using inventory tweaks to sort my inventory while the table is opened crashes the game. is there any way to fix this ?
thanks
That is because inventory tweaks 'removes' the item from your inventory and then places it back in order. Considering that it does it very quickly and for multiple items it confuses the hell of out craftingtable3 as it scans what items you have in your inventory then scans every possible recipe those items can make. As mentioned before because inventory tweaks 'removes' and places the item back down, craftingtable3 gets repeated messages to rescan multiple times in less than a second. Thus locking up minecraft.
Crafting table II could craft with the items in you inventory, whereas Crafting Table III can use the items in your inventory to craft things, and use those to craft other things in one click. Much better than Crafting Table II i think. My only problem is that whenever i craft something, theres a good amount of lag. Ive seen youtubes videos of people using it and it crafts really fast, but when i use it, it takes maybe a good 1-2 seconds for it to actually work. any help on this?
That is usually because the people recording for youtube have very good computers, to put it simply your computer isnt as fast as theirs and so lags when it scans so many items.
Only 3 possible solutions.
1. Get a faster computer
2. Optimize minecraft to run better
3. Dont use so many mods
cool but not getting for 2 reasons:
1.i know how to craft these,it only takes a few more secs to craft them
2.minecraft forge is confusing!
Cant possibly understand how you find forge confusing, you download the file and then copy the entire content of the zip into your minecraft.jar file. And then your done, no more need to install modloader at all.
Im getting an odd issue where the grid is misaligned... So when I craft something it goes into an inventory space that doesn't exisit and I need to move it by hand. Here is a pic... http://imgur.com/7pqq3
That would be because you are using a texture pack, when you craft something it puts it, like you said, into a separate inventory space. As shown below.
Wow thanks for the quick reply. Is there any thing I can do (like edit the interface) to fix this? I cant find the correct texture in my minecraft folders
The lag comes from a large number of crafting recipes, i like to use infitools but i deleted it as it was causing lag when i used the crafting table. So the more recipes the longer it will load up/lag the crafting table.
It might matter how powerful your machine is as stated before.
It seems the more mods are "improved" the number of crashes severely increase...

I have no idea what I'm doing, but it seems all my stuff was changed to "Girl Gamer"
Would it be possible to make the crafting table make files with the recipes instead of it trying to get all the recipes all the time and it would just read of the file. If a mod is deleted then the recipes from that mod are deleted as well but that would have to be done after it was opened first time when minecraft was turned on and loaded the world (it gets all details after each login or something like that) so you will only have one lag spike/it reading the file and editing it to add/remove recipes.
I'm not entirely sure if it would work that way but could you try doing it that way?
can you make something where normal crafting table does this so in multiplayer without the server having the mod you still have this really cool crafting thing.
there's a bug with the NEI patch, when you try to switch to Creative it crashes. Saving Chunks crash i forgot to mention, here's the report:

i think the problem is at "aes.a(PlayerControllerSP.java:87)" and you have the move plus mod which affects player movement so i think that this may be why not sure i am not a modder but i am sure that something with playercontrollerSP is causing the crash
Howdy. I noticed that CT3 isn't working with my IC2 items. Is there a reason for that? I know it worked before (I had to redo my .minecraft folder so I may have missed a step somewhere). Any help is much appreciated.

Just letting you know that this mod no longer works, when trying to craft anything on the chest this gets spammed to the console until you force close the server and restart..

On that particular error I was attempting to craft sandstone..
Had this mod setup for awhile now on my home server and very much enjoying it! I never could get into Minecraft PC because I did not want to have to try remember how to craft everything or have a wiki page open to do so! I got into the Xbox 360 version for awhile and it was great till I came across this!
Hopefully this will continue to work in 1.3 otherwise there goes Survivial for me...

But for now I will make do by keep looking up the recipe with NEI

A suggestion to help with the lag problem due to the large number of possible recipes in CTIII...
Put a checkbox on the gui to makes the feature of showing you EVERYTHING you can make optional.
I'm not entirely sure if it would work that way but could you try doing it that way?
Sorry if my english is bad...
