Hey guys,
Whenever I try to click "g" it just makes a clicking sound and the orange text immediately disappears. Also, my brightness is set on moody permanently for some reason. Whenever I try to slide it on bright, it goes back to moody. Help.

That's weird. Try deleting the Gammabright config file and/or just reinstalling the mod in a fresh jar. Could also be a conflict with another mod (if you have others), not quite sure of any though...

Let me know if you get it working!
I have Furullo's Gun mod and Optifine. Perhaps the gun HUD is interfering with the Gammabright HUD. I'm working on an adventure map though which requires the gun mod. Any trouble shooting tips?

Try running Gammabright alone. If it works, good. Then add the gun mod (or another mod). If it doesn't work, there's your problem. It shouldn't be conflicting though, even if the two HUDs are overlapping. At least, it shouldn't cause the issues you're describing...
You would think this mod would be more populaz. I love the mod, congrats! I like how when you go to change brightness in menu, you can't even see the slider for it

Tisk Tisk. Ignore that creeperslicer up there, will you? My name's PhoenixRealm, and I'm a fluffy orange cat. <3
Can you add a function to remove the overlays and light level reduction from water and lava. this a seriously needed feature since alot of mods now give fire immunity items and lava since has been unnavigable since the update that added the red fog and light level reduction

Every time a mod author makes a new "TOOL" God Kills a Kitten. Think of the Kittens, ADD Omniwrench Support To Your Mods !!!
Cant you do a beta release without modloader or forge?
Like ReiFSNK do with his rei's minimap beta release :c
Rei's a modding genius. Practically he coded everything in his minimap and relies on nothing but it. Therefore all he needs to do is hook into the Minecraft game instance and he's good. That's why he can update so fast and not rely on Forge/ML.
As for Gammabright I am currently in the process of switching over to LiteLoader, another modding API, that will work much better and updates quite faster that Forge and ModLoader (which is basically dead). Unless I become a crazy good modder overnight, I'll need these features these APIs offer for my mod to function. The reason mod updates are taking a while for 1.7.2 is because Forge mainly is very unstable. That's why I've switched to LiteLoader. It's all my mod needs, it's basically perfect.
So to wrap it up, update may be taking a little longer right now, but in the future since updating is so easy with LiteLoader, expect updates the day of or after LiteLoader is updated!
Will the LiteLoader version work WITH forge?
Also, if yes, can you post a beta download link?
Yes, there is a little checkbox in the LiteLoader installer that allows for it to work right along with Forge. I'll give a better description when I officially update Gammabright.
And about download, I've been testing in a 1.6.4 environment so far and all is good. I just need to update to 1.7.2 and compile, so release is set for tomorrow!
They are still there... Never gone.

Thanks man! Looking forward to getting an update out as soon as possible.
Update?
Working on it. May take a few days since Forge is a complete mess atm.
If you need any testing or any help from just players, don't hesitate to ask ^^
