I love this mod! However somehting I would like to see added, or atleast something made more obvious or intstructions if it is possible, is to make the text bold. I am using a font called Vivaldi and it is a bit hard to read at it's current unboldiness. other that, I love this mod
I love the idea for this font, though the lack of the default Minecraft font is a bit of a problem.
Mind, I have yet to install it, but if there's popular demand for it I might re-make it. If I do it, it'll have to be when I get home from university though.
Do you mean having a TrueType font that looks like the bitmap font that Minecraft comes with? Someone's already done that, and maybe this is what you're looking for.
Allow for different font settings for menus and chat. Some fonts aren't readable for bulk reading (such as chat)
For texture packs, they can have their own *.ttf file named something like betterfonts.ttf. That way, a texture pack can have a custom font with no need to install it to the system.
Please update this for 1.4.5, i LOVE this mod!!!!!! The custom font from texture packs are nice but i like to have my own custom font while using default textures.
I so very rarely post here, but you are amazing. I just wanted to send my gratitude your way. This mod is phenomenal.

For example, on the title screen, the splash images make the text larger, making it harder to read. Any fix?

Like allowing the options menu to have size 25 font, but the inventory bar only 18.
Adding functionality for different fonts for different parts of the HUD would be even better.

Waiting for 1.4.6 up date!
I installed this mod with OptiFine and Forge when I still had 1.4.5. Although Forge didn't list it as a mod, they all existed together happily.
They work fine together. Just ensure that BetterFonts loads after Optifine.
This version is compiled against Forge build 486, if a non forge version is requested I could do one of those as well.
