Nice, but i think it needs more ice. i was thinking of an ice type that reverses your movements or something
keep up the good work

Things you may want to improve:
1. Textures. Use the smudge tool on gimp to distort the colours for a professional effect.
2. Speed/Bounce blocks are overused in mods. You could make the green blocks slow your movement! (by reversing values for speed) and the bouncing could be replaced with knockback reduction (reverse velocity) so instead of add Y Axis velocity, you add negative values for Y Axis Velocity, meaning knockback is impossible (well vertically anyway...)
Can't wait until this is updated for 1.3.2, there are so many possibilities you can do with this. So simple and yet so awesome. Great work!
Like the excitement! Because of that, I'll finish updating it right now! I almost thought that the excitement had all gone away. Also, professional texture tips - thank you! I consider myself more of a modder than a texturer, and I need all the help I can making textures!
Yes. I will update to 1.4. However, I am switching from ModLoader to Forge. Right now, I am getting ready for midterms, so the progress might not be as fast.
I think that I might still to ModLoader-compat versions though apart from that of Forge.
Oh, and BTW, any more ideas for new types of Glacier Ice?
Question: do mobs and items bounce on the green ice?
A few ideas since you asked:
Ice that doesn't support anything, so entities fall through it, but something that mobs won't avoid falling down.
Redstone infused ice that acts as a mob/player sensor and lights up/sends a pulse/something else.
Or a non-redstone one that melts once a player/mob walks within a certain distance of it or if it is placed by heat. (I think it would be a neat effect to see, but possibly annoying)
Ice that gives you a very short special ability.
Ice that you can bring into the nether/spawns in the nether and melt.
Ice that slowly heals you even if you're hungry if there is enough of it around.
Something-to-do-with-avalanches ice. (Ice tnt?)
I don't care so much for 2 and 4. The others I'll put in order of the ones I prefer: 5, 1, 7, 3, and 6
I am glad for a forge version, thank you much sir.

Hmm. Good idea. But that WOULD require base classes to be edited would you be okay with that?
I like your thinking. Maybe.
I could, but again, that would mean more base classes edited.
Thank you! I will post this up on the front page really quick.
