Is there any way you could elaborate on this for the less modder-inclined? I play on 1.7.2 and the only other mod that adds in any "coral" or sea-plant items breaks my game, and I remembered that this mod was relatively compatible with, oh, almost everything (this being almost a year ago however) any help would be greatly appreciated, as google has been nothing but a headache and the previous post in this topic have been less than helpful.
*poke* Just wondering if this is still being updated now that Forge has a recommended for 1.7.2?

Due to changes to MinecraftForge, it's no longer feasible for me to code it using Notepad
Great mod you have here but I just have a quick question!
The Corals spawn pretty much over the entire seafloor on avgsize/spawnrate: 1
Does 0.5 make it less? Or 2?
Or is this the lowest value possible?
Anyway, I want to make them spawn less
thank you in advance
Seworian
Accepted values are 0, 1 and 2 - so set it to 0 to decrease the amount of coral spawned.

I am progressing with updating the mod, but the client-side code is proving somewhat difficult to update.
I know I have sent you to them before but both BWG and BoP have made the 1.7.2 leap... maybe ping Ted80 or the boys in the IRC if you need suggestions out of a snag.
very pretty ^^ really makes oceans less dull, i guess.
Althrough just wondering, i think there's a "glitch" in mine (using 1.6.4)
Coral seems to generate on world creation, in deserts/mesa and on land.. It looks weird. There isn't any water over it, so i have no clue what this is lol, but it lights up the place, i guess?

If I make another move there'll be no more turning back~

What other mods are you using, and could you provide some screenshots? Thanks.
An update for 1.7.10 will be coming soon, especially if Rockyroxay provides more details about their issue
In the mean time, I think it's likely that the 1.7.2 version a page or so back would still work. Try it and tell me the result.
I downloaded the 1.7.2 version and put it in my mods folder but it didn't show up in my game. Is there something else I need to download? I have the latest forge. Can you help?

EDIT: Fixed issue of green coral dropping when placed adjacently.

You can't really. If the river isn't very deep, there's likely not enough room for the coral to generate.

Check the previous page. I'll update the main page soon with a version that doesn't include Scuba Diving.

Is there any way for me to tweak the files so that coral spawns everywhere and not just in oceans?
Yes! Press 'C' to open the in-game settings. (you can rebind this from Minecraft's options)
