Why not go with a frequency based approach? You set a light switch frequency to 100 and all lights with the frequency 100 turn on. I have seen many other mods use this method, and now I notice they are taking it a set further by letting you name the frequencies and provide a list of all named frequencies to easily set and remember what they were for. This is the easiest for the user in my opinion, as it makes staying organized, especially with multiple players, very simple as everyone can see what frequency someone else is using so their light switch won't interfere with someone else's. But of course that is also a nightmare to code But hey isn't that the most fun part about programming is just seeing what you can do and always pushing yourself a step further? i've downloaded the minecraft forge mod and the furniture mod itself i put everything in minecraft.jar and when i open minecraft it gets stuck in "updating minecraft: done loading". i already deleted meta-inf folder but it still doesnt move from there. is it incompatibility with my other mods? i have single player commands, timber mod and have no texture pack.
if anyone helps i would appreciate it
Could you give me a list of the order you put them in your .jar file? Also I didn't hear Modloader in there anywhere but I assume you have it yes?

Although red power does sound like a good idea, I just kind of wanted it not to rely on anymore mods than it already does. I'll have to have a think, experiment and see if what I want to do will actually work properly. Thank you for your opinion though

You need to install Mod Loader then Minecraft Forge into the minecraft.jar file, then delete meta-inf. Close minecraft.jar and place the downloaded zip file into the /mods/ folder in .minecraft

I thought the window box was for a small box under your window to put flowers in? Are you not able to put anything in the window box?
Yea it is but I never got round to making custom flower models for it. It is going to be removed in the new version coming out later and replaced with something else

It doesn't hate you, just one of your mods lol. It's the "elevator caller" block that is making it not load. try changing some of the ids in JammyFurnitureMod.cfg in .minecraft/config/
Quite the same error AnimusGlitch have had.
The problem is that Jammy determines the BlockIDs but Forge does assign the IDs variable.
So Forestry gets the ID 200 and up but Jammy's mod has always occupied them.

Yes check the config file in .minecraft/config/JammyFurnitureMod.cfg
Nevermind I got it now. I had to disable Spider Head sadly. Since its block id is.. 211? I think and it matches with the Mine & Blade forge banners. So yeah either way great mod it works swell!

Thanks for the update! I'm trying it out right now, and it looks like in SMP the Freezer's recipe uses a flat snow piece(which is impossible to acquire), but in SSP it uses a snow block. O_o Also, the sofa crafting bug is fixed in SMP, but is now appearing in SSP. =(

Your mod hates me lol. I guess its whether block ID's or the fact I have millenaire? Not sure but I'll tinker with it and tell you what's up. I guess its all my mods
Yea it is but I never got round to making custom flower models for it. It is going to be removed in the new version coming out later and replaced with something else
It doesn't hate you, just one of your mods lol. It's the "elevator caller" block that is making it not load. try changing some of the ids in JammyFurnitureMod.cfg in .minecraft/config/
One of my blocks is trying to load over a the "Tin Ore" block. Try changing some of the ID's in .minecraft/config/JammyFurnitureMod.cfg

Hey jammy, the mod is working fine, i love it!
I'm only having one single problem, seatable things on multiplayer generate a giant white thing on the player or something like this, is player 1 is not looking at play 2 and player 2 sits, when player 1 looks it will not be glitched (will be glitched on player 2 screen) if player 1 is looking when he seats both see the glitch, so this is a bit strange but everything else works nice! thanks for the mod

Also, the sofa crafting bug is fixed in SMP, but is now appearing in SSP. =(EDIT: I'm an idiot. The sofa bug was fixed! >_<
