Turning that setting off got rid of them, thanks for knowing what it was.
Is there a way to alter the generation of worlds? I tried 10 or so worlds and always spawned next to a giant rock mountain in a river, I like it but I want to see other RWG stuff too.
As of now, the only way to get a single biome world is to use SuperFlat, and to know the BiomeID(works with modded biome too)
But as the name says, it is flat...
A very nice world gen option would be for a Single Biome World(with sub-biome as option) to be available, with every feature, like terrain height and such, maybe also an option for river
Mod should have a kind of drop-list for biome, to simplify, instead of extracting biome list from NEI

It is REALLY annoying for everybody.
I can see your getting a little annoyed. I'm just trying to figure the problem out because I want to see a solution too. I retracted my previous statement already and am not blaming atomic stryker for the incompatability. If I wasn't busy I would be figuring out and writing an API myself, bit I might get round to it.
Keeping the peace, please don't call other members "jerks". MainFlava was trying to lighten the mood a bit, and, maybe if he's like me he found you saying the mod author is "Dead" a little offensive, if he was dead that's sad and not a throw-away statement. Besides, modding is fun and Java is not that hard once you get past the barrier of thinking it is. Maybe you should give it a try, take you only a few days to get the basics.
Ok, maybe you took it offensive but calling me a jerk for saying the truth is just being a sad man.
anywayz:
I NEVER saw java files in my life before i opened rwg, i watched a video how to install eclipse, jdk and forge (gradle) blablablablablaba...
I even imagine if every minecraft player needed to develop in java to fix others issue. Maybe the MC modding comunity would be more.. fuzzly, not? Maybe would be BETTER than few people keeping knowledge and doing s*** to others...
I don't see ANYONE putting a shotgun in a modder head to force him to work for free, and i see they freaking everywhere about this (here, on forge, on the vaporware-like spongepowered). God, it likes people threat the guys life for a update. Just take easy, remove the spammers and dont be arrogant like some people...
I myself used to develop some things for free, and the last thing i would do is blame mod users for dont pay for my content. Its a choice of yours. If you dont like to work for free, give up of modding and get a job.
Finally, if you made the decision to learn java to fix RWG for yourself, good for you. I have nothing to do with it.
I'm not sure what you meant by that last quote (sorry I'm on mobile and multiple quotes are very awkward). But, yeah other mods won't be aware of the internals of Rwg but if the biomes are registered with forge it could be as simple as Ruins using a forge provided event or listener if not an API on Rwg's side could provide a simple way for Ruins to ask for the names and tap into the generation in each biome. Im not sure what your knowledge level is, but if you don't understand just ask.
That is the bit I did not understand from your previous post. Did you meen vanilla ruins and 'awesome work'? Or do you meen, like MainFlava asked, that Ruins mod worked with SubBiomes in 1.3.2Rwg?
For the last time (maybe i need to start writing in portuguese and you can throw my text in Google Translate to you finally understand):
(Lexmanos mode on)
THIS BULLS**T OF SUBBIOMES SIMPLY DONT WORK WITH OTHER MODS!
Its not a standard way to handle biomes, its useless (if EVERY subbiome was a proper biome with a proper ID, the range wont ran out and everyone would be happy) and just a beautiful Kludge. Maybe the updaters don't understand the operation of biomes, so i advise to check a source code of other worldgen mods (with autorization of authors) to get "inspiration" to develop in the right way (biomes of plenity, galacticcraft, etc).
CustomMobSpawner works with RWG, it is just a ****load of work you have to do ...
I gave up on the mod, it's just too much you have to do to make it work with biome mods.
So, i prefer to wait the author or other dev waiting to maitain this mod to bark for nothing. While this wont occour i will (as i stated before) follow @IHaTeD2 path... Downgrade to last official build until my mods are updated to 1.8 and i finally move away from RWG to Customized world type... Sadly, RWG was a very good generator, but the new maintainers want to do the things for your own sake, without thinking in interop with other (awesome too) mods.

Hey, I don't know what to do:
When I'm going to create a new (first..) world, MC crashes ("shutting down internal server"). I read here that this maybe got something to do with Forge, so I tried out different versions, but it always crashes.
I'm just using Industrial Craft 2 Experimental, no other mods. Even without IC² it crashes. :/
I would be very thankful if anyone could help me, I guess it's something very simple...

Does anyone know where in the FWG Skyland Dimension code I can modify the distance between islands? I've found the main generator but I can't figure it out.

So, I can't play with this mod because, well, I think there are too many mountains. And, I can't cut down any trees because, as far as I know, there are no saplings to replace them. Also, I think the trees are a tad too tall. I know this is supposed to be realistic, but is there any possibility that you can release a version that is more in tune with vanilla minecraft?
My server is running the Attack of the B Team modpack in minecraft 1.6.4. Is there anyway the realistic world generator will work for my server? I have installed the .jar into my mods folder and set the level-type to RWG, but I'm afraid it is not working.

Has anyone else used this mod alongside Chromaticraft? I've been testing the two mods out together, and I'm not sure if I'm just incredibly unlucky, or if there are compatibility issues, as I can't seem to find anything other than trees and Pylons, with all other worldgen features such as biomes not being present.
If I were making a server with RWG, what code would I put into the server properties in order to change the world type? level-type=RWG?

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.

Can someone link me to this 'Jimmy's version?' I can't find it on this thread, I've scrolled through so many pages!

Idea for a new world type mod: Single Biome
As of now, the only way to get a single biome world is to use SuperFlat, and to know the BiomeID(works with modded biome too)
But as the name says, it is flat...
A very nice world gen option would be for a Single Biome World(with sub-biome as option) to be available, with every feature, like terrain height and such, maybe also an option for river
