How do i instal treecapinator cause the way im instaling it is not working.
Please follow the instructions in the OP. This involves following a link to the ModLoader thread and following Risugami's instructions as well. Also, make sure you are using an axe to cut down the trees.
for ingame info you should add the health of tools in the form of (health)/(total health) so if you had a wood sword with 20 health left it would look like (20/54)
I actually added tags for those last night. I'm working on code for a <max[value1/value2]>[value1text/value2text] tag that will allow you to have basic conditional text functionality, so I'm probably going to try and finish that up before I release the next update.
Haven't read the whole thread, don't kill me please.
Was a buffbar type of thing for Ingame Info requested? I'd like to see active effects and time remaining... and also disable the display of same in inventory screen.

Just finished up Ingame Info 1.2.3.c. This update brings new tags for the currently equipped item, a max tag for conditional display functionality, and a pct tag to get a percentage of a value. Info on the new features is up-to-date in the spoiler below the download link.

Can you explain what you mean a little more? I don't really have any idea what you are talking about even after a google search.

cool! i know its possible because Shockah made a mod called tooltip that does that, but he doesn't update it very fast and this mod has many more functions! the reason i like having tool health is a combination of colorblindedness and small GUI makes it hard to judge the health of tools. being able to know exactly how many uses your stone pick or whatever has left makes it much easier to be prepared when going mining or cave exploring.

The update with these changes is live. Have at it!
Hello, i love this mod, bud would it be posible to get it work with industrialcrafts rubber tree and (or) redpowers rubber tree ? or is there a way to add tree blocks to the mod ? Thanks
Currently the answer is no. The reason is because the implementation actually uses a class that extends the BlockLog class to determine what blocks make up the tree you are trying to destroy. It might be possible to write an add-on for RedPower2 and/or IC2 that would make it possible, but I haven't looked into that possibility yet. I'll add it to the backlog.
A workaround is using Connected Destruction and only adding the rubber tree blocks for those mods to the config.
is it posible to add custom game over screens? because i would really like the super hostile banner text "if you only see this text every ten minutes, your doing good" as my game over screen!

windoge 8 has the saddest excuse for a BSOD, it just tells you the type of error, no stop code, no nothing, just "something went wrong, all your unsaved work has now been lost to the void that is volatile memory"

Well... this isn't a current or planned feature of any of these mods. Perhaps another mod has already covered this?
I love how you added that feature to treecapitator that destroys leaves from trees. Usually fan-made updates don't include new content like that! Wait, was that feature in the original treecapitator?

lol...While I would love to take credit, the only additions I made to TreeCapitator were changes for the 1.2.3 update. The only major changes I've made are to IngameInfo in the form of new tags. More are planned, as well.
Is it possible that in the future you could program an average tag for InGame Info so that I could display my average framerate from playing? It could just take the past 20 fps or so or maybe just continually add the fps to that. It shouldn't be that hard, I think. Here is my attempt at some of the code. It's almost definitely wrong, but I am just learning Java. Something like:
while(fps>0){
//fps code here
if(fps == 0 || //gameovercode?)
break

Open the config file change destroyLeaves= to true.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
That doesn't even make sense... TreeCap doesn't use Forge in any way. Maybe another mod was conflicting?
Thx
