Sorry for confusing about the 1.0.0 thingy. I've forgot to change the version number in the actual version. It will be fixed in the upcoming version.

They don't seem to want to build though; every now and then they will but mostly they don't build. Also sometimes they don't pick up items.
Is it possible to make them follow you?
1. Give them a bow, and they make a torsion catapult (Basically a catapult combined with a huge bow and arrow). This makes the catapult fans happy and gives them a 1 hit kill long range weapon! Everyone's happy!
2.What can they do with wooden planks? What if you gave them wooden planks, they would make boats! The kind of boats they make would be like the kind of houses they can make:
Give them 5 planks they make a small 10 clay boat
Give them 10 planks they make a medium 64 clay boat (If you also give them a bow on the boat, they will put a torsion catapult on it)
Give them 20 planks they make a huge warship that fits 128 clay soldiers and has 2 torsion catapults already on it.
3. What if they could create their own resources? In Survival Mode, I've gotten clay soldiers (Without TMI, =P) and then I built an underground lair for them, added a door, and then realized something: I did not have enough resources to give them. All I could give them were gravel, wood, sticks, and SOME leather and wool. It was pretty much a disaster... so, what if you gave them a pick and an axe, and they could go off and get their OWN materials. I doubt this will be added, but I would still like to see it.
4. Either make it strictly for survival mode, or make it strictly for people who are in Creative/Have Too Many Items. In survival, I can't find enough resources, in TMI, I am annoyed at having to pick up all the dead soldiers and supplies, just to delete them all later.
5. How about make them avoid lava? I make a nether arena for them with a lava river, have the entrance right in front of the 3 plank wide bridge, and the entire red team decided to go for a swim! Also, could you make them not avoid, but just not go into water? On all three battles I've had on my River Map, the main part of the battle (The part that decided the winner) was in the water...
Just some suggestions, I hope you at least add Number 5, if any.

If it has been suggested a lot, then maybe, just maybe, it should be implemented because obviously a lot of people want it.
First off, I love this mod. I don't know a person who doesn't. But I got think about it a few months ago. Here's my suggestions.
1. Make a miner that will mine a very small 1x1 mine that dips down at a 45 degree angle. When he reaches a certain level he could branch out. He will mine iron to give to either you or a stockpile-like building.
2. Add a blacksmith that will create tiny iron weapons and place them in a nearby chest. He will smelt the iron he gets from the stockpile. This character will also make blow pipes out of stick that you place in a chest. (The blowpipe idea is just a little idea that I thought would be better than the gravel)
3. Make the soldiers have some kind of tie to the building they made so that they won't wander off.
4. Improve the soldiers' AI coding so they don't crowd around the king in a really annoying fashion.
5. Little pieces of iron armor that the blacksmith will craft.
6. Maybe add a stone castle building that the soldiers can make?
If you don't think these ideas are suitable I could improve on them.
I'm sure this idea isn't very original, but I would like to suggest it anyways.
What I'm thinking of is an item that allows a player to assume control of, or become a clayman. The player transforming would probably be easier, since things like Player API already exist.
I found an Bug: Gravel Does Instant-Kill on an unarmed soldier.
That made it all the better when I made my D-Day Map for them! I gave them spears (Knives) and gravel (Guns) so it looked even more realistic since they are 1 hit kill!

Green horses... Make me think cactus or melons, tho cactus makes sense if they're spiky and do damage to enemy's nearby or like other people suggested explode like creepers.
I like the idea of plank shields, and arrows acting like javelins or spears or something could be interesting.
One feature I'd love to see implemented is villagers, say make the white civilians or idle troops have an desire to make houses that serve an purpose as well as the little forts they make now (and make the grey soldiers protect them so they're not quite so useless). I've been playing with an mod pack and the villages in it where I sell my goods make me want an tiny Lilliputian civilization in my backyard! I could imagine mini sheep they could heard for wool to make their padded armor and maybe some boots to make them walk slightly faster or such, maybe woodcutters who poke trees to collect sticks, or tiny miners quarrying stone to upgrade their forts and towns. Someone mentioned bows earlier which made me think of miniature siege weapons that they could use to attack the forts, or possibly even monsters - tiny hordes of clay people ganging up on an lone zombie would be quite an amusing sight. As fun as making massive hordes of soldiers can be, the idea of besieging an entire civilization has its merits as well. Plus you could consider things like "Bandit camps" where enemy troops could try to steal resources or kidnap animals etc. Or who knows, tiny clay zombies pouring out of an crypt!

can you make it plez so that they will cutdown trees for weapons and what not and also so that they reproduce so there more self sustaining and mine to yes mining so they make there own stuff you get the idea
