Lilly pads in the swamps die in the winter, it would make sense for them to regrow in the spring with all the algae regrowing in the springtime or whatever.

The mod isn't FULLY ready for 1.2.3 but that would be a nice addition
I get black screen only. Is there any incompatible with other mods like mobloader?
You mean ModLoader? It is obviously compatible with ModLoader because it is required. What other mods do you have installed? Do you have ModLoaderMp installed?
Hey I'm having a problem when I use the MCpatcher and optifine with this,(yes i deleted the right class files in optifine for them to work together right) all my mods work fine, but then when i install the seasons mod the foliage all of a sudden is GRAY!!! I don't know what the problem would be, but probably something related between changes from this and mcpatcher or optifine. Any help appreciated, thanks.
Anyone know if this is compatible with ExtraBiomesXL?
I don't think so, I can't seem to get it compatible.

Why yes, I sure am single. But not really guys, you're not really my type. Except you Hugs, only because I sure do like hugging zombies though. Oooh yeah, that sure was a good zombie hug.

It's odd. It's the only mod I get black screen immediately. Not even the mojang logo appears.
Tried to use clean install etc, still same problem.

Currently incompatible with Optifine. But it works perfectly with MCPatcher.

Well, check your .minecraft/mods folder and make sure it is empty (unless 1.2.3 AND compatible mods are in it). After that install ModLoader ad ModLoaderMp. Install the seasons mods and delete META-INF. You're done. If you still crash, you installed it wrong and/or have incompatible mods.
By default a season is 7 days in-game. This takes 2 hours and 20 minutes of real time. I was thinking about changing the settings in my config file (./minecraft/config/mod_Seasons.cfg) so that a season lasts a fourth of a year of in-game time (91 in-game days).
While Minecraft is not running, I'll change "SeasonsLength=7" to "SeasonsLength=91" (a quarter of 364). This will make a season last 3 months of in-game time, which would be 1 day, 6 hours, 20 minutes of real time.
I think this might make it more challenging. Any thoughts?
I did clean install for minecraft and then copied modloader and modloaderMP.
Next, I copied season mod files to minecraft.jar. At last, I installed mcpatcher (it shows a window that my minecraft.jar was already modded and blah blah blah) and unfortunately the grass option can't be selected. Still patched and the game is running normally.
The "problem" is that is strange one part of the map is snowing, another is raining and thats it. No fall or spring so far I haven't seen it. I thought that if it was snowing it would be for all the map equally.

I'm getting a black screen when I tried to run Minecraft, I got Modloader and ModloaderMP installed but it won't work, maybe its not compatible with my mods.
I got these Mods: Minecolony, Millenaire, Parachute, ClaySoldiers, Rei's Minimap, Toomanyitems and I want MO's Creatures when it comes out.
Some1 know how to solve the black screen? Because I really want the mod

Odd, why don't you install it using MCPatcher? But there are incompatibility bugs
Good thought. A lunar cycle in Minecraft is 7 days. If Minecraft lunar phases and years are proportional to that of Earth's, then a year in Minecraft would be 86.6 days on average.
Three months (a season) would be 21.6 days. If we round it to 22 days per season, that would give us an 88-day year. A season would last 7 hours and 20 minutes; a year would last 29 hours and 20 minutes.

I wish The Seasons was compatible with ExtraBiomesXL, but they use like all the same class files.

Make sure there are no old or incompatible mods in your .minecraft/mods folder.
nope. They use the same files I think, since seasons edits the biome classes

In the future, in the future...

And still craches. Modloader is properly copied in minecraft.jar because Matmos needs it and runs with no problem.
What I am using:
Matmos , MisaHD texture pack (with mcpatcher), Dynamic Lights, water shader. Only those.
And when I copy season mod files to minecraft, jar = black screen. :\
You're forgetting ModLoaderMp, there's your problem.

I'm wondering if this would be a lot of work. ExtraBiomesXL and Seasons both use about all the same class files.
Well the moon phases don't agree.
Rei's is currently incompatible

It is, probably will be fixed soon
Alright, I wouldn't blame you, it's pretty buggy at the moment. Also they use the same classes
