when you tame one fairy she will follow you like before, but after some time she suddenly stops following you and walking in any direction, and when i get close, she dont follow me anymore. =(

For now it's going to be just mob-based. But in the future, after the 3 major updates, I have something pretty cool planned. You know how it mentions that the fairies abandoned their former kingdom? Well, I'm pretty sure it's still out there somewhere...
Hm. In Single Player, my chunks do not load without going to the in-game menu with the "Escape" button. Started happening when I got this mod. I don't blame the mod, I'm just saying. Maybe I installed the mod incorrectly? Anyway, it doesn't seem to affect SMP.

As Notch has said many times, the game has no way of knowing what a "cave" is, or if you're in one. Or what direction is "out" of it.
One more bug I found is that the player is not notified of a queen's death... as far as I know anyway. A faction had slain my queen that was in front of me and I never got a message. Also, I dunno if this is a bug but ANY fairy class will defend the player if it's at a post. I personally like that, though, seeing how a post is sort of a "home."

As for the second, I think I'll keep it that way. Seems about right.
Got an error once I started trying to defeat the queen, it the screen said saving chunks then turned to the error screen.

I think what andy means is that Fairies should try to get away and/or avoid areas where a fairy can wither and try to get to a torch or some other light source.. Though, I don't see a point to the withering system itself then if a fairy would keep walking away from a dark room.
Yes, but they don't spawn in dark areas, so it's unlikely they will Wither.

Your Familiar mod caused the crash with a null pointer exception.
Either me or Pam would have to make a patch for it.
I'm going to add a fairy with a ranged attack, but it won't be an archer. They're going to shoot something else.
