There should only be 1 Superflat world type, and you should be able to set the ground level via a slider.
There should be a text box where you enter the Block ID for the block you want to replace grass, and another one where you enter the Block ID for the block you want to replace dirt. If blank they will just go with the default grass or dirt. You should also get to type in the name of the Biome you want the entire world to be, so you don't have to have it be a Plains biome if you don't want it to be.
Make Minecraft save the settings you chose in the save file for each individual world, the same way it stores whether you selected Generate Structures for that world. Again, this should only work with Superflat.
I do plans on having height customizable height, i do like the idea of having text boxes used to add the block ids too but for now the block type button works fine
I think there may be an incompatibility between this mod and the Forge on 1.2.3. If I install Forge over Superflat++, no matter what terrain gen I choose, it generates a default world. If I install Superflat++ over Forge, when I generate a new world, Minecraft crashes. Attached is the crash log, if I install Superflat++ last.

I use the portal mod, and for some reason, this mod is NOT compatible with forge running other mods. When I select superflat or any other superflat options, the game either crashes, or it makes a regular terrain map.

thank you for letting me know i been thinking on which mod to support modloader or forge i might just make 2 versions 1 that supports modloader then the other supports forge.

forge overwrites some of the files i had to modify i plan on adding forge support soon .

Just do a Forge version. Forge requires ModLoader anyway.
And BTW, thanks for the 1.1 link.
Question, biome generation is still on when using this mod, as opposed to a regular superflat that has no biomes, is this correct? or have I somehow messed something up somewhere. Thanks
EDIT: sort of answered my own question... Flew around a little bit and noticed the world was flat and 32 deep... untill i hit this...
I have default selected for block type. Im going to try and make another world and delete this one and see if its the same. Starting to think theres a higher being that just doesn't want me to be able to move all my old builds and set them up a little higher ><
EDIT2: I made 2 maps and they had the edges like above... tried a clean install and mod and the next 2 seem to be endlessly flat and no walls, biomes comtinuing for the 45 seconds of flight i was checking in all directions. I found one which i think is an ocean biome and thus the grass is all one color so IF im right about that, at least I would have a nice green and largly uniform area to copy my builds into and to then continue working after the transplant is done, so this might work still. All in all thank you for the added height, everything else ive been trying has just been such a huge failure and such a waste of time. Hope this keeps working and something doesnt wig out on me.
Question for you now would be does this work with LB photo do you know? That might have been messing things up earlier, and does the mod need to stay active for chunks to continue to generate correctly? That would be my other thought as to what would of caused the issue. Eventually Id like to take the save and put it back on a server to be able to get my friends back on there building with me again, but for the time being I wanted to take down the creative server i had to work on it as single player and run the SMP server instead. If i need to explore a large number of chunks to have plenty of build area, I can do that, since nothing else has worked as well as this seems to be atm. Thanks for your time mate!

Ok, I guess i broke the mod somehow and thats what caused it, but after the fresh install its working just fine right now. I just finished transferring all the old builds over to the new map, just need to go and explore about 4 minutes off in all directions and i can pop it to a server as is and the saved chunks should still all be superflat and life will be peachy without all the damn oozes hoppin all over, lol. Thanks a lot!

Not exactly. The mod makes it so chunks are flat when rendering. But, if you take off the mod, It will stop rendering flat chunks.
well no, i had installed the mod and generated the land, but then tried to load LB photo to try and tell what biomes the colored grass was to i could see what was where. I think when i went to reload LB, it did something funky cause it was still set to superflat 32 but then i was hitting fully generated chunks after that, so just using default textures for now till i explore and load a lot of chunks, all that ill want, and then turn on the texture pack and move it back to a server if/when i want.

if you can i thank you
I have uploaded a minor release with two new langs and its in a zip file now
sorry about that yes i plan on adding SMP support

yes when you choose a block type like sand the whole world is sand , default is the normal grass/dirt blocks
