I wish this guy would release a version that is installed like most other mods (for ex, TMI, Optifine, etc) (not an installer). Something that you can install via MCPatcher.
Nitrous didn't give a manual install either, for the core files. So Sonic Ether never will either. Neither will reply to any who ask about giving a manual install, ever. They also took the liberty of forcing linux and mac users to install via an auto-installer jar file. Mainly, this is because they don't want people mucking about in the shader coding by decompiling it. Honestly, they should allow us to, because we could help re-code it better if need be, if the mod authors don't.
How do i turn down the motion blur it makes me feel sick when i play
thank you to any or can help me
The most fool-proof way is to download the shader set in the original post "Ultra No Motion Blur or DOF." Follow the instructions in the OP to replace your shaders.
If you want to keep DoF, or just use a reduced motion blur but still keep it, you need to edit the final.fsh file in /shaders/ with Notepad or Notepad++. Find the "#define MOTIONBLUR" and change to "//#define MOTIONBLUR" to disable it. Or change the value in the line below it "#define MOTIONBLUE_AMOUNT 1.0" I'm not sure if higher or lower is an increased effect though.
Hello, I am having some issues with a couple of things when I downloaded the mod:
-gray water textures
-pictures appear red
-chests are invisable, but are still accessable
-Shadows don't appear (I have checked out your way to solve this through the composite files, however I couldn't find SHADOWES in it)
-I could not find the area to modify the motion blur in the final area
My graphics card is ATI Radeon 5145. I have updated my graphics driver, and I have updated my Catalyist to 12.6
Thank you
I got the ultra, but all that works is the waving grass and when you stare at a block everything else blurs. Nothing else is working and I really want the shadows. Any help?
You might have normal GLSL shaders mod installed, try re-downloading this launcher.
I'm assuming there's still no fix for the dark bluish screen/void for those who run the mod with Intel GPU's?
I have a Gateway computer and I have determined that it is pretty much impossible to upgrade or change my graphics card since its built right into the motherboard. I'm only 14 too, so it's not like I have enough cash to fork over for a brand new computer, and neither do my parents.
Guys why is my fps only about 30 with this mod? I don't have waving objects or motion blur, because it causes me headaches. My graphics card is Nvidia GTX 670. I have the latest drivers and version of the mod itself. I have tried all shader configs, all same results (maybe a 2-4) fps change). I have also tried changing OptiFine's settings. Or is this just normal? I just thought that i would get a fps around 50-60. My old 5770 got 30-18 fps
That's not normal. You should get over 60fps with GTX 670. Someone with GTX 680 did and 670 isn't that far off.
Can I PLEASE have some help? All of my grass textures, flowers and dead shrubs have a white background when I run this mod, I also get a black background on particles too. HUGE thanks to whoever answers.

The jar file has to be run with Java itself, not an archive program / etc. You likely still need to give it elevated privledges, even on MacOS. On Linux, since Minecraft is installed in your home directory, it doesn't need such elevated privledges.

Hey. I have EVGA GTX 670 FTW, and the fps is 30-40 when the GPU usage is about 50-60%. And that I'm not sure if its from the drivers or minecraft, but for me it only happens when i turn on AA and AF. Hope this helps. Without AA and AF, GPU usage goes to 99% (assuming you dont have vsync), and fps to 70-100.

Hi, just wanted to say that this looks beautiful and I can't wait to try it out! I just had a question though, do we need to download the v09/v08 shader files as well? Or can we just download the core and run the installer and nothing else?

Yeah, you can run the installer only if you want to but, if I recall, it only has the basic shaders. I forgot which ones. Try it and see what you get. If you want more, then add the v8 or v9 shaders(not both)

Anything that isn't Intel, and was made after the year 2003.

Easy. In your final.fsh file go to line:
#define MOTIONBLUR_AMOUNT 1.5
I've v8 so it's set at 1.5. Lower numbers decreases the strength of motion blur.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!
run the installer as admin.
Im on a mac
Can my card not run the mod or will it simply lag, because IF my card can run the mod, I will. I don't care about the rest.

It won't run at ALL. You'll see nothing but blue screen

What version of Optifine do you have?
Dont tell me it's from Optifine. It's not. I've tried every version of Optifine, only when the shaders are installed, this happens.
