Hello.
I have a big problem with Sonic Ether´s mod and Texture packs.
If I have a texture pack in the game and wants to cut a block then this happens and that's with all the blocks in the game.
A picture of my problem: http://s1.directupload.net/images/120502/pytz5hjp.png
What can I do about it? I have since removed just stone.
Why does it always come these strange colors?
PS: I had it with the Google translator translated. Sorry for the bad English by the translator

Hi!
Probably, it will be solved by changing configuration of your graphic driver.
Please check out your settings regarding mapping, antialias and quality settings.
And of course, try to update the graphic driver.
Is this problem occur in another texture too?
If you can see this problem in another texture, please check out your configuration of your graphic driver.
Hi, I have installed optifine WITH magic launcher. Do i need to install optifine manually? And also in the launcher what is the 1.0.0 line? In the launcher it says it was posted for 1.2.4 and is 1.2.4 do you need to update it or do i need to downgrade?
Installed everything right, even got a friend to help but no luck. There are these white boxes around flowers and grass, and black boxes around rain drops and some other things.
System Specs:
i7-930
16GB DDR3 RAM
AMD R7970 Black Edition 3GB VRAM
Windows 7 Home Premium
I have a really annoying problem, when I run these shaders i get this weird glitch where all textures become invisibile in a large portion of the ground so that I can see down to the caverns below the surface. Here are some pictures.
Edit: forgot to include my system specs
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2550K CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 8.0 GB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 570 HD
Can someone please help me?
EDIT AGAIN: I just found out it's optifine causing the problem... anyone else having problems should check if optifine is the culprit if you're stuck!
It's really a shame... You guys drop $$$ on a cutting-edge ATI graphics card, and then they don't function correctly with some OpenGL shaders and thus makes this mod unusable... It's really a shame. If I had a newer ATI card I could do some testing to try and find a solution but for now there's nothing I can do.
I've been steadily working on v09. I added dithering to SSAO to remove banding artifacts. I've also fixed how Ultra shaders behave when it rains so that interiors don't become impossibly dark. I'm going to put together some additional configurations that you guys can download as well. Those will include a version that draws shadows at a much farther maximum distance, and a super lite version for people who really just want color grading and mood without shadows or any effects. I might put together an "overcast" version to give the eye a logical explanation as to why sun shadows wouldn't be there, in which the sky will be a gray overcast color. It might give a cool 'gloomy' mood to Minecraft.
I've been working a lot on music and another game development project, so my progress isn't quite as fast as it was before, but please continue to check this thread for updates. v09 will be rolling out soon. Thanks for your patience.
Can Someone Help I Got an GTX 550 Ti EVGA graphics card i updated my drivers and tryed both ultra versions but yet i still get this annoying bug when i im hitting an block its goes green orange or red or even yellow could someone help... im really starting to stress http://img542.images...20502202525.png ect i got i7 quad core
and 9 ram
Same issue, with exact came card. Even manufacturer is the same. I've updated the drivers and done everything short of trying anohter card (including reinstalling minecraft and re-modding from scratch) I have an i5 quad core sandy bridge. I also get sun inside caves, though I know you mentioned it was a known occurrence. Thanks!

From both an artistic and technical point of view, that looks like the drivers aren't reading the alpha channels correctly for graphics that are codded with OpenGL. Someone on a forum I visited suggested to change your 3D graphics settings in your card applet manager to force Trilinear Filtering to Off. Might give that a shot. Good luck!!
Edit: Did a COMPLETE reinstall, using the Ultra config, and it works AMAZING now- no strange sunlight leaking through into caves. I get a silly awesome framerate for everything this mod is doing. Still getting the strange color on stuff I break, but that is a VERY small price to pay for this:
i feel like crying I did EVERYTHING with some steps i saw on yputube the i enter here because im having the blue void problem and i see ITS UNSOLVABLE im so sad I tried so hard
I really wish I could use this mod. :{ Tried to install in 1.2.5 But the water is grey. The ice is grey. Wood turns black when I punch it. Dirt turns red when I punch it. The shadows wont render. It doesn't sound like anything that anyone else has encountered. Tried to install this in 1.0.0 and 1.8.1b same problems but extended grey over all textures. I updated my graphics card same result. I use a radeon directx 11 mobile graphics card (same as a desktop graphics card just a bit underclocked) along with a i core 7. The pictures look so nice, but I can't seem to get this mod to work. Can play high def games no prob like crysis on full graphics so it has to be a bug. Could you please look into it. Thanks for all the effort.
Tried using multiple installations of optifine, each one on a clean MC install, keep getting this 1 error:

Well... I installed it and my textures looked like a simple pack (solid coloured blocks). The shaders were working but the textures weren't being rendered properly... Also I got some SHA1 digest error when I tried another time?
EDIT: Well I tried it again and it loads the mojang logo now! But after that is a white screen...
Uhh, how do I update nitrous, I tried deleting the folder in appdata and then opening the nitrous.jar but it still says my version of nitrous is incompatible with some files.

Hi!
I tried to drive this mod on my computer which is nearly same spec to yours.
That's PC had a spec of C2Q and Gf8800GT.
This mod worked on my computer but, FPS was not enough to smooth play, distance settings was tiny mode only.
And some times, my PC didn't work.
I recommend you to replace your devices to more good things.
Now, my PC has GTX560Ti, i7core and 4GB Ram.
I can play it smoothly in over 40 FPS.

You did install Optifine first, correct? This mod requires it

I guess you could try using multi-core optifine and/or giving minecraft more RAM.
