I think, I have a solution for you and all other people with the same problem.
It is caused by Nvidia Experience. Given that you installed this application, do yourself a favour and unistall it.
I stumbled over this sulution when I pushed F11 through gameplay. In window mode, even when maximized, the FPS are fine.
Switching back to fullscreen resulted in low FPS again.
Even a Vanilla MC 1.12 in fullscreen mode had this FPS drop. This is where I got suspicious.
Hope this solves it for you, too.
Hi, I love this shader it works beautifully with the exception of 2 texture bugs. First is the most annoying which is the "disco" texture effect on certain entities, most noticeably slimes. Here's a picture to show what it looks like:
Next up we have a strange interaction with blocks from certain mods. What appears to be happening is the block is being given the texture properties of water on all of its faces, however, if a block is placed next to this "watery" block then depending on where the second block is in relation to the first block the effect does not occur on some of the sides. Again here are some pictures to better demonstrate the issue:
I'm not so much as looking for solutions (If you have a solution then, by all means, please let me know) but more so looking for potential causes, why does this happen? What is the reasoning and logic in the code that causes this to occur? If I know the reason for the problem I may be able to find a fix for the problem. Like I already said, if a solution to these bugs has already been found then it would be great if someone could enlighten me, however, I would still like to know what causes them as I'm looking into making a major HD texture pack and shader and would like to know how to avoid this. Thanks in advance!

AMD? Honestly, try other shaderpacks. It might be fixed in the next version.
Shaders and other mods just don't work together very well. It's meant for the default game.

Yeah, I know they don't work together, but I'm messing with them to make them work, and even without me messing they work nearly 100% only problems are the 2 I stated. Now obviously the second one isn't that big of a deal because it is a mod block and that's just not something that is taken into account when making shaders, however, the first bug is in vanilla Minecraft. Slimes of any size look the way they do in the picture I posted, this happens with nearly every shader too with the only exception so far being Ebin by Continuum Graphics (although in that shader the shadows are nearly non-existent so it's very hard to look at, still playing with settings to get a more natural look) This is in Minecraft version 1.10.2 for anyone who is curious. I am beginning to think that the slime texture bug is due to OptiFine but I'm not sure yet.
Also if you are asking if I use an AMD graphics card, then yes, I do.

If you're getting this across different shaderpacks, try reporting it in the Optfine thread. Just from the pic, I could tell it was AMD graphics. There was a similar problem a couple years ago that was exclusive to SEUS. I notice now that it was mainly with items and the player, not mobs. It's pretty easy to install the Shaders Mod itself if you want to try it. Other people might reply to your post yet too. Some of the other shaderpack owners are good about replying to people like Sildur.

Have you tried swapping to the shadersmodcore instead?
Ive seen the bug with some modded elements being reflected like water.
Sadly shaders and mods dont always go very well together, as has been said in this thread allready.
Also some shaders dont go very well together with Amd either, but its something thats being worked on.
You can also try and switch a different version of Optifine and see if that worked out.
What i suggest are the following things:
1.Check if you dont have set any settings for your AMD card on, like Anisotropic filtering etc.
2. Try the shadersmodcore instead of Optifine
3. Switch Optifine version to another
4. Try a clean install of all mods you are useing and with Optifine and try again
I was quite positive that I had adjusted most of my AMD settings so that they did not override in game settings but I thought I would check it anyways. Glad I did because as it turns out AMD decided it would be a good idea to stop supporting their Catalyst Control Center and automatically remove it from my computer without installing their new program AMD Radeon Settings. So all of my settings that I had adjusted had been reset to default which does explain why I was having issues in a few other games recently, however, even after readjusting my AMD settings, none of the bugs in any of the shaders were resolved. That said, after some more looking around and some more digging, I found Chocapic13's Shaders. The V6 Extreme Shader seems to work with almost no bugs, the only issue is the reflective block bug, however, it's not nearly as noticeable and has the same in game workarounds. Thanks for the help though! I am still curious as to what interaction causes these bugs for future reference. (Also doing all the steps Triliton suggested had no effect).
On a side note I have to say Triliton, your shader was pretty spectacular. Sadly the disco slime was still present. On top of that your website could use a small tweak, white text on the background you have makes it nearly impossible to read, consider darkening either the background or the text.

Well that's it from me, thanks again!
Glad your issue is almost fixed. Thanks for your comments. The slime there too? It has to be related to Amd drivers.
I shall have a look at my site right away and fix it. Thanks.
I seem to be having the weirdest issue and I can't find out what's going on.
This only appears during rainfall as the ground is covered in rain. When I turn off rain, it gets rid of the issue after a little while because the water on the ground begins to dissipate.

You can try and copy all files inside the shaders, and drop them into a folder and call it: world1
World-1 is the Nether.and that folder is allready inside the shaders.
Im not sure that the End wil be nice but it would be a cool experiment to see
I'm guessing you mean the nether files, because by default i think it uses the overworld's. It worked, it just makes the end look orange xD i guess it's better because i couldn't see very well before, the orange fits more the darkness.
I have a doubt about something that's happening on the corner of the blocks, it's kind of hard to explain, i don't know english very well.
Here is the picture: https://prnt.sc/fwi26n , maybe it's a common thing?

Its an issue with the latest Nvidia driver.
Is the End going to be supported eventually? >_<
I can't believe i haven't got a single problem after reading so many things here.

Got this Problem during Rain .. Caused by Lastest Nvidia Driver?? Really? :C OMG ... Any Solution guys for this one?
Orange? Interesting.
I see your issue, but im not sure how to fix.
Having some troubles. I followed what the post said but the shaders acts as xray, as you can see through some blocks. Any tips?
Are you useing any other mods here?
