did you mean the shader selection button or the button to configurate SEUS (select profiles etc)?
Because i thought with MC 1.7.10 it is not possible to configurate shaders further?
If you meant the configuration button, wich preview version do you mean?
Currently i'm using:
MC 1.7.10-release
Forge 10.13.4.1614
OptiFine HD U D6
ShadersModCore-v2.3.31-mc1.7.10
Thanks.
Yes.
You just need to look at the preview versions on the OptiFine Website.
Here's a link to the latest preview version of OptiFIne 1.7.10.
NOTE: If you're thinking about using it with forge, make sure you're not using it with the ShadersModCore (Forget this one & you'll see what will happen).

Hello, recently installed this however I'm getting an error message that says, "Invalid program "gbuffers_textured_lit" " does anyone know what this means, and how can I fix it?
*cant do multi-quotes right now*
I experience that on my Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 Laptop, and there's a way to fix that:
Go to gbuffers_textured_lit.vsh,next go to Line 10 and add varying float distance; (make sure you use Notepad++ or VSC in editing those kind of files), and save it.

I am so close to having this perfect, but I've officially reached the end of what I can figure out via google.
I have a decent rig, i7 4ghz, AMD R9 390. It does run. At 16 view distance, with 128x chroma hills for SEUS and sphax for modded stuff, I'm floating around 30 FPS (25-40 depending on things, but perfectly playable).
I am having a couple of problems, and my first instinct is that it's the AMD drivers again, though I am already currently downgraded to resolve the issue of transparent equipped items. But, I still get a rainbow noise mesh over anything enchanted, and when I set up storage drawers for the first time last night, many of the item icons were pure black, or black with a border (even with their respective texture packs disabled). I can live with the former, but the latter is a problem.
This is 1.7.10 and SEUS v11. If I switch to the latest SEUS v10 ultra w/ DoF, both of those problems are fixed, but the thing I really loved about v11 was how it rendered water and stained glass, both of which are not the same in v10. I didn't like some other things about it, either.
Now, I am running it off of shadersmodcore and I did read the recent exchange in this thread about downloading the latest preview version of optifine for shaders instead, but I can't get it to run. All I did was pull out the older optifine and shadersmodcore, put the preview version of optifine in its place and the game crashes while loading.
Any help? What's the best AMD driver version to use with SEUS at this point? Right now, my rig is pretty much only here for minecraft, so I can put whatever version is best and leave it there forever for all I care. And, any advice on how to get the preview version of optifine on there? I have no earthly idea why it won't let me. The version I'm using is, I think, exactly 1 build older than the preview version. D6 instead of D7.
I'm not at home, but I'll be happy to find out any other information anyone needs to help. I've been obsessed with trying to get this all right for like a year and it's so close I can taste it.

I doubt it's the forge version. I have run into that a few times and every time I've gotten some kind of a notification that I needed to use at least 1566, or whatever it was at the time. I'm running 1614, i think. Whatever the highest one is. I can try going back just to try it, but I can't imagine that's it.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find an optifine entry in the configs. I thought of that. Though, it's possible I missed it or something. There must be something somewhere, though. Where else could the settings I set be saved?
Been vigorously googling all day today since the alternative is actually doing work at work. There are a few things I can try when I get home, but I'd still love more input/insight.

Nooooooo way, lol. I've put too much time into this world to start over now.
I can start there just to make sure I can make this version of optifine works in general. And as a nuclear option, I can try porting over the world and the mods and all that and see if it all loads up right, but if I end up losing my progress i'll be cutting of my nose to spite my face. Or throwing the baby out with the bath water. Whichever disgusting analogy you'd prefer.
There HAS to be an optifine config file somewhere in there, though, so maybe if I dig in I'll find it and hopefully that will handle that part.
Still looking for advice on AMD driver versions, too.
I have 1.11.2 i have the latest version of optifine my graphics card is
NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
SEUS v11.0 is not compatible with macOS.
Sadly Seus shaders dont work very well with HD graphics cards
Anything you recommend to try to fix the error code I got, or do you know of a shader that works better on my card?
Try these shaders:

http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1291396-1-6-4-1-11-2-sildurs-shaders-pc-mac-intel-new
I recommend you try the low/lite versions first.
Yes.

Perhaps change Forge version.
Also go to config folder and delete any optifine config if there is one.

perhaps start over?
Just Forge and Optifine?

Ummm....is there a way to get SEUS v10 RC2 like Past Life Pro?
OK, I'll check this out tonight. I didn't get a chance to work on anything last night, but I have tonight earmarked for it.
Do you mean the clouds and sky textures from a Resource pack??
there is a BIG difference between the SHADER clouds and the clouds from a resourcepack.
If the clouds from the shaders are not showing, then there is an error somewhere Then we need a screenshot of it
and most likely an error log..
If the clouds from a resourcepack arent showing, then u need to set custom clouds to on in the video settings,
Do you have an Intel graphics card???
im confused, the last version works on 1.10 ? or is it for 1.11 only?
should i put the .jar file on the shaderpack folder OR should i EXTRACT the files from the jar then put then there????
