Okay, thanks! just tested it...but when I play it, there's a bit of lag on Low and Medium, lag on High & Ultra and super lag for Extreme...why is that?

Weak hardware? Bad optimized? Too many bloatware and malware? (sarcasm)

Perhaps your graphics card cant handle it very well.
It's taken me a while to find how to do this. Cheers, man.
EDIT: Okay, this doesn't seem to be working for me. I've tried making the value higher/lower & it makes no difference.
Hey, made an account just for this. I wanted to change the torch color as well, and got the same problem as you.
It's an easy fix, though. I'm on SEUS 11.0, and you have to change colorTorchlight in composite.vsh, composite1.vsh and composite2.vsh (just scroll all the way to the bottom for all 3 files). All 3 have to be changed and presumably to the same value for it to work. Hope this works for you.
Also, I found that "colorTorchlight = vec3(1.00f, 0.50f, 0.30f);" gives a nice middle ground between the vanilla white light and the SEUS orange light. Looks convincingly torch-like but avoids being ridiculously orange (to me, at least). Enjoy!
Ive been testing out some other shaderpacks now that my windows is working and wanted to try this. So here is my problem:
I have installed everything as said. I am using an optifine of version 1.11 HD U B2, and shaders of the latest version of v11.0. When i select the shaderpack, it crashes minecraft. I have tested this with 1.11 optifine and 1.8.9 optifine and 1.8 shaders mod, and have had the same result, crashing. I provided the latest crash log of 1.11 // v11.0 at: http://pastebin.com/CALRhLrC
I hope this helps
additional informaton (I dont know if this effects anything) But i have one of the windows computers as in i have to turn off VBO's to prevent minecraft from crashing. This is only for versions 1.10 and up.

it seems like you are having AMD driver issues running Seus.
Do other shaders work then?
You must NOT use the shadersmod with Optifine for minecraft 1.8 and higher.
This will result in a crash. Optifine for 1.8 and higher has the shadersmod built in.
For 1.7.10 and lower you need Optifine and the shadersmodcore in order to run shaders.
Well glad you asked because it isn't only this shaderpack. I tried other shaders and they have all failed to work all resulting in a crash. I switch between version 1.8 and 1.11 because of different server versions I play on. I tested both of them out with their closest appropriate versions, meaning I tested v11.0 SEUS on 1.11 optifine and tested 1.8 Shaderpack of multiple different kinds on 1.8.9 optifine and they all have resulted in a crash

One note on this, I have navigated to the download, however it keeps asking me to login and signup to download it. I went on oracle.com and navigated to downloads of a different java myself and was able to download without getting an alert to login. Why does it ask me to login to download this, and it also asks to login to download any exe file in the link you sent me? (Just asking because to create an account it involves alot of personal information being shown to 3rd parties).
I know this doesn't help, but I have the same problem.
Sadly, SEUS isnt very active here.
Can I run this on NVIDIA GTX 940M, smoothly?
Ive ran it before on a GTX750TI.
No problems.
Can I public mods for SEUS?

No
What do you mean? like putting it on a modpack or something?
I'm TheCoolSteveMan, you can call me CSM for short!
I mean modified code, for example, improved screen space.
As long as you are gonna use it for personal yes.
Distribute, no.
You can show people how to apply your changes. Like this pastebin: http://pastebin.com/f9V3HDwy
