All the information you need is in the OP, Readme and wiki. If it is not there then it does not exist.
The personality conflict is really no one’s business but the parties involved.
Some Buildcraft add-ons are compatible, best way is to try them. Or if there is a specific one that you want you can always enquire here if anyone has that one working.
It is not MP compatible.
I hope that helps
Thanks for responding, I know that this has a snowballs chance in hell of ever happening, but I hope that the situation between them gets resolved, because this really sucks.
Is it just me or do pipes attached to the side of a millstone not insert into the inventory?

Playing since Beta 1.3_01. Yeah. I like BTW. Or used to. Still do. Stuff Technic. (Back in the day...)

I think this may be a bug. I never encountered it directly, as I always had pipes going into a hopper above the millstone.

I have pipes attached below millstones and it seems to work normally
Ye, top and bottom work, but not the sides...

I'll take a full look at the Mill Stone and its interaction with pipes in the morning. There already seems to be the issue of only the top slot filling, and I suspect something wonky is going on due to the 1-wide inventory.
Um, odd question that I can't find an answer to... what does a quarry do if it encounters a monster spawner? Does it collect it, ignore it, or destroy it?
Um, odd question that I can't find an answer to... what does a quarry do if it encounters a monster spawner? Does it collect it, ignore it, or destroy it?
I believe it destroys it. My understanding is that it collects whatever the standard drop is for a block, and given that a spawner doesn't have one...
I have a problem,i installed this before, now the latest BTW and Buildcraft version are not compatibile because when i install the two, then this, like in readme, and when i start the game,it says:
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

Good to know, I might have to do a bit of scouting ahead of time to make sure I don't lose any.
I've rigged up a system that turns off the quarry once it outputs a mossy cobblestone block, works out pretty well especially if you're running a huge quarry.

Cool. That's a very clever solution. Nice one :smile.gif:
Just wanted to make a brief mention that the most recent version that I just released of Better Than Wolves is NOT currently compatible with Better Then BuildCraft. I'll be releasing a new version of BTB to take care of this issue shortly (most probably tomorrow).
In the meantime, I've put a download link to the previous version of BTW (3.492) in the OP, which remains fully compatible with BTB.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may represent. I'm juggling a lot of different things at the moment :smile.gif:
Have you looked at the previous page? It will be updated when FC updates it. In the meantime go play with the new lens
Yup, I will likely be working on that today. After reviewing all the messages related to the most recent BTW release, it doesn't appear there are any problems serious enough to warrant an immediate release of BTW or what have you, so I can return focus back to the BTB update.
*Note*: This version requires Better Than Wolves V3.51 or later and BuildCraft 3.1.3 or later to function! Upgrade to the latest version of BTW and BC to play this version of Better Then BuildCraft!
-Updated to the mod to the 3.x branch of BuildCraft.
-Added new recipes for the following blocks and items: Laser, Assembly Table, Path Marker, and Cobblestone Structure Pipe.
-Added ability to place and retract BuildCraft Pipes with the Block Dispenser.
-Added the ability to upgrade a standard Conductive Pipe to a Golden Conductive Pipe by placing 2 of them in a heated Crucible with a bar of gold.
-Added functionality to properly place Better Than Wolves blocks with the Builder, with correct facing and other attributes.
-Added recipe to convert BuildCraft Wooden Gears back into Better Than Wolves Gears.
-Added the ability to melt down the Wrench in the Crucible.
-Changed the Transport Pipe recipe to produce 4 pipes instead of 8, for balance, and to better match the other recipes in the mod for pipes.
-Changed the recipes for the following existing blocks to integrate the new chip-set functionality in BuildCraft: Diamond Transport Pipe, Automatic Workbench, Quarry, Filler, Architect, and Builder.
-Changed the Golden Transport Pipe so that it is created by placing 2 standard Transport Pipes in a Crucible with a bar of gold. This reduces the cost of creating Golden Transport Pipes in gold to 1/3 its previous value.
-Fixed problem with the textures for the Spout not being properly preloaded.
-Removed the ability to craft the BuildCraft Stripes Transport Pipe due to balance issues with the combined tech-tree. This recipe may be enabled in the future once this feature is more fleshed out and if a proper place for it can be found in the tech-tree.
---------------------------
I'll be updating the OP in the next few minutes to reflect all the new recipes.
Enjoy!
EDIT: The OP should now be fully updated to reflect everything in the new version.
I really want to try this, I LOVE having new stuff to do. The thing is, between the two mods there is SO MUCH! I don't suppose anyone has some kind of ordered progression list for both mods together?
Actually, the easiest way to do this is to follow the order things are listed in the Better Than Wolves thread. I've broken down the instructions for the mod into distinct "Ages" where you build what you need to get to the next one in the previous.
The instructions for Better Then BuildCraft follow the same system, but only kick in once you've moved through the first few BTW ages.
So yeah, just start at the beginning with BTW, and you should figure it out in no time

Nope, forge is not supported.

Oh youre here, gues i will have to ask: When is this be updated,it isn't compatibile with latest BTW,and i don't really want to play an old version.
