Yes, it only says that has been loaded and i use the modloaderMp 1.1
I see that SDK's version of ModLoaderMP has been updated to 1.1 and Flan is now linking to it. Are you using SDK's ModLoader Client 1.1 v4 and ModLoader Server 1.1 v4 or Flan's unofficial ModLoaderMP Client 1.1 v2 and ModLoaderMP Server 1.1 v2.1?
I'm using SDK's ModloaderMP Client 1.1 v2 and a pre-modded bukkit-R4 jar file so i think it uses the server version 1.1 r3.
I tried using ModloaderMp 1.1 v4 client to play in the same server but that's the same.
Did you merge the "net" directory from RanCraftPengBukkit_v11bR4.zip with the "net" directory in your bukkit jar file? Some archive utilities can't combine the contents of a new directory with a directory that's already in the archive and has the same name, so to get it to work you might have to get the four .class files in net/minecraft/server/ in the zip file and put them directly into net/minecraft/server/ in the bukkit jar file.)
Yes it works now :biggrin.gif: Maybe i forgot to make it this way, maybe i put it in the mods folder but i just can see them by spawning with spawn eggs, I don't find them in the map. Shoud I start a new world to see them spawn naturally?
I'm glad it's working now!
If you start a new world you'll see penguins in snowy plains, snowy mountains, and islands, and I think you can also find them in the areas of your old world that you haven't explored yet.
If you want a good seed for generating an Emperor Penguin habitat, try "Igloo".
Hey, it's randalpik from the Rancraft team, again. We have over 350 downloads, and we are releasing a new update very soon-- what could be better?! For a sneak peek at all the new features, we've already updated the Rancraft Penguins Wiki with all the new weapons and armor, not to mention the previously-disclosed Flame Penguins. The 1.1c update will be released for Minecraft 1.1 singleplayer, multiplayer, and bukkit in the next couple of days!
Oh, and soon, you'll be able to get that Rancraft banner in your signature, too!
Oh yes finally I have found them :biggrin.gif: Thanks immediately for your help :smile.gif: But do they have specifics sounds? Should I use AudioMod?
You're welcome!
Penguins will work fine silently without AudioMod, but they do have custom sound-effects, which are modified versions of the calls of actual Emperor Penguins and Little Blue Penguins. You can tell how much health a penguin has by how long his call lasts.
I need help with this mod. When I run a test on McPatcher I get the following errors:
I made sure that the ported mod is installed in the craftbukkit.jar as well as the client version in the minecraft.jar.
That also includes the resource files from the client.
I keep crashing out of minecraft in certain spots and I think this is related.

I can't get working the sounds of the pinguins, I have AudioMod properly installed but shoud I copy the pair of penguins sounds folder in the resources folder?
I'm sorry if maybe I'm being a bit annoying :tongue.gif:

Hi Crash,
Here are some ideas to try:
Those messages aren't from errors -- they're just the normal messages that appear while the mod is loading. The error messages should show up in a white rectangle of text inside your Minecraft window when it crashes (although it doesn't always). If the error message does appear, see if it says anything about one of the mods you're using.
Is the crash pretty predictable? If so, what actions in the game seem to trigger it?
Since you're using MCPatcher, it should be pretty easy to try different combinations of mods just by un-checking some of them. See if you can reproduce the error without mod_Hunting, and then see if you can reproduce it without mod_RanCraft.

No problem -- We appreciate the thread bumps!
The two penguin sounds folders do go into the resources folder, but not at the top level. In your resources folder, you have to have the whole directory structure that's in the zip file:
mod/sound/mob/penguinEmp
mod/sound/mob/penguinLB
Be careful not to over-write any files that might already be in mod/, mod/sound/, or mod/sound/mob/, though.
Thanks for the reply! I actually resolved the crashing by making sure the ID numbers for red power 2, buildcraft, and IC2 matched my old servers numbers. I thought those override messages were errors but I am glad you said its normal. I need to give your mod a good test still but from what I understand, I have to go out a bit and generate some new terrain to see it.

Nice -- I'm glad you were able to track down the cause of your crashes!
If you don't want to wait to find penguins, you can also give yourself spawn eggs with the server or op command: /give [username] 383 : 87 (for Emperor Penguins) or /give [username] 383 : 16 (for Little Blue Penguins).
Rejoice! The 1.1c update is here! Don't forget to check the main post for the Rancraft Penguins BANNER which you can put in your own signature, as well as the wiki for full information on the all-new Flame penguins, and even more armor and weapons!
Remember, we cannot update this mod to Minecraft 1.2 until we have:
Minecraft Coder Pack, the decompilation tool all modders use
Risugami's Modloader, to make Penguins compatible with all your favorite mods
SDK's ModloaderMP, for Penguins on a server
Muckk's ModloaderMP Bukkit, for Penguins on a Bukkit server
A day or two for us to update the mod ourselves
So it may sadly well be a week before you can play Penguins on 1.2. That's why we released v1.1c a day before Minecraft 1.2 is due to come out. Make sure not to update when asked, or you will suffer from Penguin deprivation!

OK idea for 1.2.
I propose...........
Yellow eyed penguins in jungles...
We'll consider adding these. For realism, though, the Yellow-eyed Penguin will have to share a biome with Little Blues, since all penguins are tied to coastal areas.
Except for this extremely rare variety.

Y U NO MAKE PENGUINS
Also, all three species of penguins now have more realistic wing motion.
That would be great!
