Can someone help me? For some reason only the fish creepers are spawning. I installed modloader and the game runs fine, but there are no nature creepers or magic creepers or anything, just huge mobs of fish. Help?
EDIT: And they are all set to yes in the config.
Is the config that you are editing in the correct place (the .minecraft folder and not inside any folders there like bin)?
Thanks for the lag fix for some of the creepers when they explode my "Survival World" got messed up on how a Nature creeper exploded on me and then VERY intense lag came on and it kept going on forever so ya it messed up the saved but no worries i have aback up anyway XD
No problem. It still worries me that such a horrible bug could have gotten through in the first place though.
I have a problem, I added this mod on top of the elemental creepers, my minecraft works fine but the only elemental creeper i see are friendly creepers, now i know those only spawn during the day but i saw those during the night and when its night time i cant see any of the elemental creepers it used to work just fine before i installed ur mod ( by the way i downloaded the normal version not the high rate spawn version ) but i dont get it...elemental creepers are supposed to work fine with wacky creepers no? ( and also i have single player commands installed too but i dont know if that is what's causing this problem)
Which version of the elemental creepers are you using? I think that there is one that doesn't use ModLoader (which my mod does.)
It is compaitble with nightsky+ just don't drag the afv.class into your minecraft.jar (don't drag the afv.class from the wacky creepers mod)
But of course if you do that then the custom particle effects featured in my mod (the party creepers confetti, etc.) will not work. I will try and work out a compatible version.

Ya i know because that is Render Entity :laugh.gif:
Holy crap. I tried out the update and not only did the ninja creeper scare the crap out of me, but it's actually keeping up with my pegasus by jumping across the forest trees. It's a brilliant mob, and I love the way it moves.
Edit: Also, I meant to ask, would it be possible for you to maybe have the nature creeper plant different kinds of saplings? It'd be nice for them to plant pines and birch trees too.
I just tried the Wacky Creepers 1/1/2012 showcase version. I got a whole bunch of bugs compared to the last version.
- Ninja creeper spawn rate seems 5-6 greater then other creepers. (In the previous version it seemed Party Creepers spawned way too much).
- Party Creeper model texture no longer renders - basically they are invisible. There is only a circular shadow where they are standing, then boom, then cake. The mob entity shows up on Rei's MM but they are not visible except for the shadow.
- Magic Creepers roam pathing doesn't seem to work. They just float in a stationary position.
- Water Creeper roam pathing - ditto.
- I wandered around for 2 MC days (40 min IRL - all daytime using TMI) and never found a Poison, Nature, or Flash Creeper - i used Rei's MM to quickly spot and noclip_fly straight to every entity on the map (testing jar has only Wacky Creepers + vanilla mobs). I don't know if it's just my bad luck but the spawning balance seems way off to me.
- My testing ended when I encountered a Party Creeper anomaly. I found a stationary circular shadow. I noclip walked up to it and it blew up and blew up and blew up... constantly without pause. When i moved back, it stopped blowing up, didn't move, and there was a single cake on the ground. When i moved back to it, it repeatedly blew up again. Actually it was pretty funny and made a huge pretty white particle cloud on the ground but it is definitely not normal.
The previous version seemed A LOT more stable and bug free.
My testing jar only has: ML, ML MP, GuiAPI, TMI, SPC, AudioM, CJB's, Rei's MM, and PlayerAPI).
Just FYI.
I have the same problem like lolwut13, only fish creepers are spawning. And if i travel a bit, after one minute my game lags horribly. And i have the config in my .minecraft folder. help?

No creeper apwn only normal creepers i have modloader and i have all creppers yes only ninjacreeper!
I am so sorry for this bug! I'm still learning to mod effectively, so many bugs slip through my limited testing. I hope to get a few people to test for this kind of stuff later, but right now its only me so I get so excited about something new I've added that I forget to test everything, leading to stuff like this. In an attempt to make the download smaller I accidentally caused many mobs not to render properly! The new version no longer has this problem. Thank you for your patience!
I just tested the 1/2/2012 update Showcase version. Everything seems to work fine now. All types render properly, pathing seems to be fine, spawning variety seems to be balanced.
There is one problem though with Nature Creepers. After one explodes, there is a slight FPS drop. The effect is cumulative with each Nature Creeper explosion. With chunks fully loaded and rendered, I usually get 25-30 FPS w/ Far Distance Rendering and Particles On. After 7-8 Nature Creeper explosions, my FPS drops to 1-2. I assume this has to do with all the newly spawned tall grass, flowers and saplings. My guess is that the lag has something to do with Chunk Saving except that even if I quit, exit, restart and reload my world again, the FPS is still 1-2. This lasts for maybe 5 minutes (IRL), then it slowly goes back up to normal.
Is there some way to fix this or is this something endemic to MC that we'll just have to live with?

Thank you very much for all the work you have done to test my mod! I really appreciate your hard work. I am pretty sure that the lag experienced with the nature creeper is not something that I can fix at this stage. When I coded the nature creeper I used the same block-placement algorithms as the game uses when the player uses bonemeal on grass, except on a larger radius. So if you are experiencing lag because of the tall-grass and flower placement it is likely due to something wrong with how it was coded in the game, although I can see nothing wrong with it. Sorry.
I love this mod
I started a new world with this mod and MAtmos installed and I must say, it is pure astounding
So much atmosphere, life, and excitement
I do have a bug to report
I might have not installed the mod right, but the Nature Creeper and Party Creeper are invisible
I never see them but I'll hear a hiss sometimes then an explosion happens and I either get cake or flowers and grass
Also, not sure if it's intentional, but the Magic Creeper only drops negative potions and causes negative spells
If it is, you should consider changing it so that there's a small chance you'll get a positive spell/potion because I don't use negative potions so killing the creeper is less enjoyable and more of an annoyance
Other than that, everything is working great
By the way, LOVE the Ninja Creeper
By far the best and most terrifying
I have yet to kill one, that's how crazy those guys are

If your version of the mod is outdated, then some creepers might not render properly. Try out the newest version if you'd like. Also, having only negative effects on the magician is intentional since a few updates back, though I might change that back again. Did you know that you can use negative potions as weapons if you combine them with gunpowder? That is a good use for them, maybe to fight the ninja creeper? In fact I will be giving the ninja better rewards since he is so difficult. Thank you for your comment!
here are your diamonds
Read the thread everything is there even the download link :dry.gif:
I think some creepers like the party creeper should be rare, except it's common on the hard difficulty.
Did you remember to delete meta-inf? Also, did you install ModLoader too? If you did both than I don't know what is happening.

Thank you very much for the review! I hope that your experience wasn't marred too much by the 'lag creeper' bug, which is now fixed.

Exists in the mod (as a .ini file). I will edit the main post to make this information more obvious.

Are these bugs or is the problem on my end?

They spawn anywhere.

I was thinking about something like this. Robot creeper that shoots lasers? Makes me lol. Thank you for your suggestion!
Just some bugs related to creepers only spawning if they had custom models, nothing big :smile.gif:
