Which version of the ESM are you using? This is intersting considering everyone else seems to get it all the time rather than only when they jump.
lol anyways unless you made a new version like 5 hours ago im using the current one or the one i downloaded yesterday BTW im using only the xd and yc classes im not using the whole mod
oh ok. So... still issues with chunks. For a moment I thought jumping was causing all the lag. It probably causes more lag due to mobs trying to path into midair when loaded.
Pulled an all nighter re-writing the pathing code to fix the lag once and for all. Ive also included the new ingame gui for disabling features. Currently only three are available: Blazes, Breaching and Powered Creepers can all be toggled now. I need some one to thoroughly test these and to confirm they are fixed because my computer will easily compensate for any lag spikes so I dont have an 'average' testing rig. Feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
2.5 Client is broken for me. After loading a world I have a game picture for a frame but then Minecraft goes to the Saving chunks screen and hangs. I also can't see new options.
I thought it wasn't playable? Are you even using v2.5 Client? If so, how did you get it to work?
MCP and Eclipse both run it fine but once installed into an actual client, it crashes. And they also report huge fps increases. Any ideas on why it this is?
EDIT: Nvm, I forgot the read and write options to file. Fixing it now...
It didn't fix it. Im going to remove the gui to see if that works.
Whats the progress ? / Have you given up ? / Are you pausing ?
A challenging Minecraft without Lagging would be so great^^
I have Exams on at the moment so work on the mod has been slow. I have fixed the gui crashing the game but the mobs refuse to read the change in settings. I havent given up on the mod. Also I'm not 100% sure the lag has been fixed but I'm hoping it is.
I have fixed the options but I might add two more and they are disable pathing for those who have issues with lag and disable napalm creepers. So in total, the options are:
- Toggle Blazes
- Toggle powered Creepers
- Toggle breaching Creepers
- Toggle napalm Creepers
- Change awareness radius
New update has been uploaded. I have tested this for crashing so it should work fine. There should be no more issues with lag as there is an option to change it to whatever your computer can handle and almost everything else can be toggled. Enjoy and please post any feedback you may have :smile.gif:
Hey I encountered a problem with the mod, My MC shows black screen on start-up.
I am using 1.1.0, all required Mods installed...
I used MC patcher to install the Mod after I encountered the black screen but still no difference:
Launching C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
java -cp C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/minecraft.jar;C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/lwjgl.jar;C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/lwjgl_util.jar;C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin/jinput.jar; -Djava.library.path=C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\natives -Xmx2048M -Xms512M net.minecraft.client.Minecraft

By the looks of the log file, something went wrong when MCPatcher was trying to process custom fonts. This has nothing to with the mod, try and re-install it on a clean jar using WinRar or 7zip. Also there are no other mods required to run this mod, not even mod loader. Please read the Instructions carefully next time. If you still have issues, post step by step how you installed it and I will see if I can replicate it
I gave this mod one last chance, and it looked like it was gonna be fine, but right as it showed my health and hunger, it crashed. It feels like every update makes this mod worse for me instead of better. I'd show a crash log of it, but every time my Minecraft crashes, it closes the application before I get a chance to copy the log. Im sorry to say, but I will never use this mod again. I respect that you're doing everything you can to fix the problems, but I just cant use this mod at all.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience it has caused. As I have said, I have tried to fix it as much as possible over the last few versions. I actually thought the new update would be more stable because it was able to change settings to reduce issues but obviously not. I might just release the source code so maybe someone can fix what I have done wrong. :sad.gif:
PS: This is actually very strange as I dont have any issuse with version 2.7 not on startup, world generation or gui. :blink.gif:
Im not trying to insult you in any way, shape, or form man. I didnt mean to discourage you from trying to fix the mod, if that's how you took my opinion. All I had installed was Optifine, Modloader, Original Main Menu, and FPS++ to all help reduce lag as much as I could. If one of those is conflicting with your mod, then there's no chance, as of yet, that I'll change my stance and try the mod again because I cannot play without those mods installed due to my computer being an ancient (Windows ME style) piece of junk....
Oh... so it wasn't the mod at all causing the crash, It was conflicting mods. Sorry bout that, and no I didn't take any offence to your post. I actually don't mind having some feed back about the mod regardless of wether its bad or good. I would suggest, for your system, not to run this mod as it can cause slight lag on an average computer.
Even if you manage to get the mod working. I'd go straight to the menu and turn down the awarness radius.
MCP has updated to 1.2.3 which means pathfinding here we come. The top features that people have asked to be added were:
1st - Skeleton Snipers
2nd - Endermen deconstruction
3rd - Infectious zombies
These will be added to v3.0 and maybe the others later on if they are still wanted.
