1.11.2 any custom skin I add to the Custom NPCs folder is just a purple and black missing texture. This doesn't happen on any other version except 1.11.2. The NPCs work fine but the texture is not there. The default skins that come with the mod work but not any ones I put in there.

Using some of the magic staves I got a crash. See below.

Need lower case names and folder names

Two questions for CustomNpcs 1.10:

1. How do I make a NPC have a random skin based from a selection whenever it spawns?

2. How do I make a NPC spawn a random NPC whenever it kills a NPC?

I'm having an issue with using this mod in combination with Chocolate Quest's tools. What I've done is created an NPC with this mod, and then I use the "mob to spawner" tool from Chocolate quest to turn it into a single spawner like the one's from Hexxit. Then once I do that an I have the mob spawners in place in a dungeon I made I use Chocolates quest's exporter block to export everything to a .schematic file. And finally I set that dungeon to spawn in minecraft. And all that stuff works, I see the dungeon spawned throughout the world and the mob spawner block for the custom npc is there.

However, when I go into survival mod to activate the single use spawner, the npc spawns , and then just disappears a few seconds later. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've tested this with vanilla mobs and this same process works (they don't despawn after a few seconds).

If anyone has a solution I would greatly appreciate it. I've been working on this project for a while and these custom npc's not working is a pretty big setback

Check 0 0 0 on your map - there are probably a few NPC there
Custom NPC has a mob spawner - what version? - works better in later versions
or you could go into NBT explorer and put in a return to home false probably in there somewhere.

I'm on mobile and cant test that now, but I will definatly test that. Another thing I noticed was that when they did spawn for the few seconds they did, their affiliation to factions seemed to have reset. For example a bandit I created to be hostile towards the player didnt attack.

However hopefully after trying your suggestion that will be fixed. Just thought I'd mention it.

I'm in minecraft v. 1.7.10. Do the spawners work similar to the ones in Choc. Quest in that they only spawn that mob once then disappear?

Ok daotoad putting "Return to home" as false did solve the problem for me, so thanks for that. However now I learned that the factions I created on one world don't carry over to newly generated worlds! And that's a problem because almost all my npcs have a custom faction made for them. Any way around this?

Edit: Nvm I found a way around, just copy factions files

Heya I've seen this mod in two Modpacks. And whenever it tries to intialize this mod everything just crashes. I have no idea why :/

Ok I was going to make a video of this showing random selecting things but don't have time
1 - there might be some other way but this is what I can up with - you need to make and save the NPC above 200 in the y direction other wise it will save the skin it has when you save it in the cloner ( you could also pick a location and at some more if (x = ?) and if (z=?) to have just a set up area.)

Suggestions:

1. Allow sclera color customization (the white part of the eye).

2. Crafter: you teach a NPC how to craft an item.

• The NPC must be standing next to crafting table/furnace, and both the source and target chests.
• You open a GUI with a crafting grid where you place the items of a valid recipe and the resulting item. You also have to tell the NPC which is the source chest (ingredients) and the target chest (crafted items).
• Alternatively: the NPC could learn from the player within a time frame (not sure if an entity can "listen" to the player inventory). In the GUI, you click "Learn", you craft something near the NPC, and then click "Done".
• The NPC will replicate the "lesson" while there are available items in the source chest and free slots in the target chest, and while you don't order it to halt.

3. Interacting with hired follower/NPCs (AllowInteract = on|off): AllowInteract would allow you to interact with a hired follower/NPC without disabling the GUI (as I need it to make NPCs wait or follow me).

Currently once you have hired a follower, you can no longer make him say the Interact Lines. They still say the World Lines, but I think my NPC followers are too shy to speak more often.

• If AllowInteract is on: right click = NPC says a random interact line; shift-right click = opens GUI (if GuiDisabled is off).
• If AllowInteract is off: right click = non-hired NPC opens GUI and says a random interact line, while hired NPC only opens GUI (if GuiDisabled is off).

When you see the skin texture, at the left bottom in the same screen. Should say eyes, disable them

Does anybody else instantly crash when assigning the farmer job on the 11.2 version?

I am having problems using this mod on a Lan server with my friend. When one of us host the Lan server: for an example if I host the lan server I set a trader npc I put items in the trader. I can open the traders menu and use it, but when my friend try's to right click the npc nothing shows up, also when he uses the npc wand it just drops a random npc and doesn't open the costom npc menu.
