I don't know if anyone will ever reply to this but how can you do the custom NPCs mod like the ones DanTDM does?
My kids love him too. He uses Custom NPCs, yes, but remember he edits his videos before posting, so his content is a combination of using Custom NPCs and video editing. If you want to learn how to use Custom NPCs there are many tutorial videos on youtube but I find the best way is to just download it and play with it. Good luck and have fun!
I need the way to get it some of the tools retextured and the gun. (Can I summon a tutorial master on how to retexture some things?)
when you download the zip go to the assets folder and look for the image files, they are .png. you can edit those. make sure you don't rename them different or they will not replace original.

I have a dialog where I give players an option to choose a,b or c and based on their selection they are rewarded with an item. The idea is the player should get one of the items so when the dialog has been read it no longer shows. However, I wanted to give the player the ability to change their mind, so returning the item reset the dialog to 'unread' allowing them to reselect. The issue I'm facing is when the items are 'returned' (this is actually a quest being completed) the reward is the command "/noppes dialog unread @dp 44" runs. This works fine testing in SSP however in SMP it does not unread the dialog.
To be on the safe side I have checked the configs and NpcUseOpCommands=true is set for both the client and server. Not sure what else I could check?

I apologize if this has been asked before (I read through about 30 pages but didn't see any mention of this specific problem) but I recently updated to the 1.7.10d and was playing with the URL system. It works fine with the human models, but the NPCDragon model seems to be a bit....wonky?
It works great if I'm using a texture on my computer (via the texture instead of url). However, posting the SAME texture online (at various image uploading sites for testing such as poastimg.org) it skews the skin in a way that I can't figure out.
In the uploaded image, there is an example of what I am seeing. Dragon on the right (Elmn) is the default Cyan_Dragon texture supplied in the mod, texture saved on my computer locally in an external folder (outside of the customNPCs.jar). Dragon on the left (Ghanis) is the same exact texture pushed through a URL instead (http://s2.postimg.org/xlbkj9rvt/Cyan_Dragon.png)
I've spent about 5 hours trying to figure out how it is skewing the image, but I'm not too great at image manipulation anyway. I was wondering if this was intentional and the URL is only supposed to work with the humanoid models, or if I am doing something wrong with the upload, or something of that sort...

I have a question, I want to make a texturepack for this, but I have NO idea on how to make this?
(Hint: I am trying to make a Star Wars: The Old republic server and I want to retexture some things)

The easiest way would be to edit some base textures from the mod.
I want to make it possible to place them in a texture pack for what I am planning, I need to know how to make a texturepack FOR this project.
(Meaning how do I get a texturepack with the base textures so I can edit these and possible to just, DL and load the texturepack.)

Idk how to implement the texture pack but you can get the base textures from the mod.

Mostly, Its says 1.8 becuse theres a beta version of custom npcs version 1.8
yes, theres was a beta version of custom npcs for mc ver 1.8, but it's still work smoothly dude

Which version is it for?
I believe @p is directed at players within the area and @dp directs the player using it? Either way tried both, still no luck in SMP
Sorry, yes I see that now, have never used @dp. Have your tried for troubleshooting purposes putting the actual name of the player in the command?
