This is a great idea! My only suggestion would be altering their appearance somewhat. *coughnosecough*
Can i suggest
-Naturally spawning castles (5-ish per map)
-Knights on horseback
-Ability to buy horses from villagers
-Ability to kill king, command knights
-Spears (click to stab, charge to throw)
How about them giving you quests and they give a reward as return? Thats more useful than breeding villages. xD
They could request materials like redstone or gold or lapis, which would actually give them a use beyond decoration. I have seen some suggestions on other threads about using gold nuggets as currency.
I am really against the quest idea. Maybe they could just make conversation and talk about stuff like the weather, your achievements, your stats, or other stuff.
i have a few suggetions.. first of all, have them drop coins, and have one villager be a merchant, maybe even have a shop. second have all the villagers have jobs, like crafter, blacksmith, etc. finally, if u hit one, they will attack you, unless you give the hit one a gift (drop an item in front of them).
- Don't listen to EVERYONE's suggestions. :tongue.gif: The villagers need to stay simple, and this mod shouldn't turn into one of those crappy overpowered or stupid mods that don't make sense, like one of those mods you'd screw around with for a bit and then uninstall later on
- Make them rarely drop gold ingots (1/10 chance) and iron ingots (1/20 chance) when killed instead of leather, fish, books (them dropping those 3 items is quite overpowered)
- We should be able to give the normal villagers iron swords to turn them into warriors (they will wear blue uniforms) They will follow you if you right click them and attack anything you attack, but if you don't, they wander around killing enemies
- We should be able to also give them bows to turn them into archer soldiers (they will wear green uniforms) They act the same way, but if they are left on their own they will not move, so they can be placed like turrets :biggrin.gif: The archer soldiers should have green uniforms
- Enemy warriors and archers should spawn in NPC villages. They will not do anything if you right click them, but they will attack you on sight. Enemy warriors wear red, and enemy archers wear yellow (because they are the opposite colours of blue and green.)
- We should be able to trade with the librarians, butchers, blacksmiths, etc etc (give them gold ingots and they give whatever they deal with, for example a butcher will trade a gold ingot for a raw porkchop) This will also work vice versa (example: give a butcher raw meat and he gives you a gold ingot)
- If you hit any of them, they should fight back, and giving them an item won't work (blucorn, thats a dumb idea :dry.gif: )
Lol, they rape eachother, how about you make it so that you can rape them, now that's be a good addition. And dude with the spears idea, download balkons weaponmod.
