Mod Version: 0.6 Beta
Known Working TMI: 07/21/11 Build for 1.7.3
This mod aims to help people who can't remember a damn recipe (like me for example). You have to have TMI installed to use this and it is fully ModLoader compatible. As you can see in the screenshots below it works with all recipes, including mod, and shapeless. Shapeless recipes are just places in order in your crafting table when selected. To auto-complete a recipe, with the item selected press z. To cycle through recipes (when there are more than 1) Press x with the item highlighted.
How to use:
Open your crafting table and hover over an item in the TMI column that has a recipe. The recipe will then be show in your crafting table.
Features:
Shows you the recipe of any item (that has one)
Press z to auto-complete the recipe (if you have the required items)
Installation Instructions:
1. Download and Install ModLoader for 1.7.3
2. Download and Install TooManyItems for 1.7.3
3. Create a "mod" folder in your .minecraft folder
4. Download and place this zip in the folder
5. Play
Screenshots:
Changelog: 0.6:

If you find any other mods it is incompatible with please report them so I can look at them
I like the look of this, but I want to see if the author of TMI approves this, looks usefull :smile.gif:, I might put this into TMI folder so installing that and (optionally chosing this) I might just put them together so installing TMI will also install this, if so, I hope it won't clash with any other mods :S (I need to get used to these emoticons like I did with another forum site)
This does not edit any files, and TMI only edits id.class. It will only clash with another mod trying to use id.class.
I know it does, this one does it by hovering the item you want to make in TMI. I don't like flipping through pages as I constantly have to look so I made this.
Nice one bro, i have no use for this but very well done!
Also, you don't need the owner of TMI's permission to distribute this, it merely extends something he made, youre not tampering with his content or anything he owns by copyright so youre all good. Plus i'm sure he wouldn't mind even if you did have to ask him =D
Yea I will still ask if I can get a hold of him however. and Thanks :smile.gif:
Why not just go back to the mod page. If it's an item just go to the minecraft wiki.
Because this is alot faster and easier, if you don't want to use this feel free not to.
Updated a few times today, added z to auto-complete the recipe, and x to cycle through recipes for that item. Next version will prolly support saving which recipe it shows for each item by default.
sad thing i cant cycle through the recips or autocomplete them
i get this "error" every tick i think while hovering over something in tmi

I think you posted about this in some other thread I was reading (possibly for some Forge-compatible mod), and thought this sounded like a great addition. Then I stupidly closed the thread you'd posted about it in, so I had to hunt around on the forums for maybe fifteen minutes to find this topic. Thanks for pointing me at it, though. My recipe book was getting ridiculously hard to navigate. It was approaching 500 pages of recipes! I don't actually even plan to use TMI to give myself items. Just to look up recipes.
Zeldo, I would personally love to have this mod available in future versions of Minecraft. It really saves me a lot of trouble. I'm not one of those people who are so rude as to think I'm entitled to your work, but if I was I'd be yammering at you to update this mod for 1.8.1 or pre1.9 or whatever. Well, maybe not, since I'm essentially stuck with 1.7.3 until Optifine updates, but I would really like to have this mod available whenever I'm finally able to play the newer versions. Anyhow, whether you update or not, I want you to know that I'm looking forward to using this in 1.7.3. Thanks for making it.
Yea, I have a memory disorder, so that's not so easy for me . I mainly made it because I can't remember mod recipes.
I feel you, man XD

I tried, though I didn't get a response. This mod does not edit any of TMI's files (or redistribute them) however.

Yes it is, I couldn't get the separate table working quite properly so I used the original table.
I am going to add a button to cycle through them once I get a chance, about to head off for work. However at the moment it shows the first one added.

It was going to be in a separate crafting table however I couldn't get it working properly and Proloe was trying to help me get it working.
