when I removed GUIAPI 1.4.6...and idresolver I did nto get this crash screen. HOWEVER this was also after taking out all of my mods from from my mod folder. I ran them all 1 by one though with millenaire and did not seem to have any conflicts when trading. This only occures in the trade screen with villagers in millenaire. I am gonna repost this on millenaires thread as well as it may be a conflict with them.
UPDATE: Ok so... I've managed to figure out my problems are forge related(on my own -.-) Ahh well, anyway, for whatever reason, when I decompile minecraft.jar with forge installed it throws errors. I figured out you can download "source" instead of "universal". Basically you decompile minecraft first and then place the source files into the mcp folders. Similarly you would do the same for GuiApi.
Now the really bizarre thing... When you open eclipse it will show you a bunch of namespace/package related problems(for both forge and GuiApi). Don't worry about these, eclipse throws a fit but it will still work. Try running it(without debugging) and if it asks about the errors just tell it to "Proceed".
By doing this I have at least got minecraft to run with forge and GuiApi. The question now is can I develop my mod without issues. Only time will tell.
UPDATE #2: YAY! progress. Ok so, I am an idiot.(as mentioned in a previous reply by myself.). I figured out where the "installer" script was, I guess I was just blind. In addition, my other problems were that my mod was originally a "ModLoader" mod, so I had to convert it over to forge. I found http://www.minecraft...oader-to-forge/ to be very helpful in that regard.
Now it seems I'm getting into other problems. I have managed to load forge into MCP just fine and my mod loads and opens my "Gui" I created. However, this gui I created was before I knew about GuiApi. Whenever I attempt to load GuiApi into mcp, I am riddled with definition errors. For example:
"Map<Widget,GuiApiFontHelper> cannot be resolved to a type"
"The import de cannot be resolved"
the list goes on. I have noticed that GuiApi uses twl and have experimented with twl in a seperate java app. I think my problems stem from the fact that twl isn't loaded yet? Havent quite figured that out. So atm, my main goal is to attempt to load TWL into MCP somehow. Any help with this is appreciated, otherwise I guess I'll eventually figure it out on my own(like all the other stuff I've done.)
UPDATE #3: Ok so.... I have successfully imported the libraries. I found out that there were some classes included in the twl version provided by GuiApi that were not in the latest twl version. So I had to import the one that was in the GuiApi zip file package. However, I do have another problem though....

I'm having trobule figuring out where to put the "theme"(especially since its an xml file and images, not your typical java library). Yet again, another deficiency in the readme. It helps to "be specific" when talking about all this stuff. I'm trying to provide as much info as possible so that someone can help me. Yeah, I'm going to need to recompile with a newer version of forge apparently. Sorry it took so long.
Edit: Never mind, seems forge added a required version attribute to coremods and instead of showing an error saying that it just throws and NPE. Interestingly, it's a DIFFERENT one than the one you showed. Mine didn't even call into MC code yet, it was entirely in the relauncher, so I think it's probably a different issue. Regardless, I'll update momentarily.

UPDATE: Ok so... I've managed to figure out my problems are forge related(on my own -.-) Ahh well, anyway, for whatever reason, when I decompile minecraft.jar with forge installed it throws errors. I figured out you can download "source" instead of "universal". Basically you decompile minecraft first and then place the source files into the mcp folders. Similarly you would do the same for GuiApi.
Now the really bizarre thing... When you open eclipse it will show you a bunch of namespace/package related problems(for both forge and GuiApi). Don't worry about these, eclipse throws a fit but it will still work. Try running it(without debugging) and if it asks about the errors just tell it to "Proceed".
By doing this I have at least got minecraft to run with forge and GuiApi. The question now is can I develop my mod without issues. Only time will tell.
UPDATE #2: YAY! progress. Ok so, I am an idiot.(as mentioned in a previous reply by myself.). I figured out where the "installer" script was, I guess I was just blind. In addition, my other problems were that my mod was originally a "ModLoader" mod, so I had to convert it over to forge. I found http://www.minecraft...oader-to-forge/ to be very helpful in that regard.
Now it seems I'm getting into other problems. I have managed to load forge into MCP just fine and my mod loads and opens my "Gui" I created. However, this gui I created was before I knew about GuiApi. Whenever I attempt to load GuiApi into mcp, I am riddled with definition errors. For example:
"Map<Widget,GuiApiFontHelper> cannot be resolved to a type"
"The import de cannot be resolved"
the list goes on. I have noticed that GuiApi uses twl and have experimented with twl in a seperate java app. I think my problems stem from the fact that twl isn't loaded yet? Havent quite figured that out. So atm, my main goal is to attempt to load TWL into MCP somehow. Any help with this is appreciated, otherwise I guess I'll eventually figure it out on my own(like all the other stuff I've done.)
UPDATE #3: Ok so.... I have successfully imported the libraries. I found out that there were some classes included in the twl version provided by GuiApi that were not in the latest twl version. So I had to import the one that was in the GuiApi zip file package. However, I do have another problem though....
I'm having trobule figuring out where to put the "theme"(especially since its an xml file and images, not your typical java library). Yet again, another deficiency in the readme. It helps to "be specific" when talking about all this stuff. I'm trying to provide as much info as possible so that someone can help me. Unfortunately, if I can't get this to work, then I won't be able to use GuiApi in my mod...

Yeah, I'm going to need to recompile with a newer version of forge apparently. Sorry it took so long.
Edit: Never mind, seems forge added a required version attribute to coremods and instead of showing an error saying that it just throws and NPE. Interestingly, it's a DIFFERENT one than the one you showed. Mine didn't even call into MC code yet, it was entirely in the relauncher, so I think it's probably a different issue. Regardless, I'll update momentarily.
