I've begun a Let's Play of Minecraft using the NBXLite and OldDays mod - Got to tell you Exalm, these mods are just tops, I absolutely love them, I really did miss the old terrain generators, which often spawned weird and wonderful landscapes, as demonstrated in my series, ha! The world used on my Let's Play (where the seed is co-incidentally my channel name) is absolutely amazing.

I will add rain option for custom generator (I wrote about it 1-2 pages ago).

That mod should have it, as they are bug of generator.

DatWorldGen fixed it before me.
Actually it is why I tried to fix it again. In current generator sea level is 63, in old ones is 64, on top of Anvil section. So water is exactly on top of chunk, causing glitches. I fixed it by generating additional section over water, even if it's empty.

1.3 is doomsday of mods due to not having Mod-API in it. Sticking to 1.2.5.
Mod API will not work for other than "adds-new-ore-and-super-swords-armor-whatever-made-of-it" mods, it will not be enough.
So most mods will still modify base classes. What really can be problem is server in SSP. It's already problem in snapshots, and not only for mods.
I've encountered a problem with Old Days, Eyecandy specifically: Zombies and Zombie Pigmen no longer spawn in the game, in fact they are removed from other saves. [For your knowledge, it's only the Zombies and Zombie Pigmen that are eliminated from the game. I haven't tested the Enderdragon, but all other mobs spawn, including the utility mobs (Snow Golem and Iron Golem)]
I tested your mod to find the problem: I installed a vanilla Minecraft and installed ModLoader, ModLoaderMP, and the Old Days Core. I ran Minecraft and Zombies were there. I reinstalled vanilla Minecraft and all the mods listed above and installed the Eyecandy Module. I ran Minecraft again and found that Zombies had disappeared. Even using a spawner egg doesn't work.
Aside from those 4 mods listed, Minecraft was completely vanilla, not even a texture pack was used.
# For anyone else with this issue, if you install the Mobs module, Zombies and Zombie Pigmen will be back in the game. If you have OptiFine, install Optifine first, the the Mobs module. The both use the acq.class and Old Days Mobs requires that to work.
They spawn, but they are invisible for some reason. I never saw this. I will add zombie class to Eyecandy too then. (Pigzombies extend zombies)

If you load world in normal minecraft, thus removing mod settings, you will have to choose them again.

Up to you buddy. I'm not too fussed otherwise. It'd be a benefit of course but it's up to you. I just hope you like them.

Leaves decay is disabled because it causes lags, as all trees are large and start to decay immediately.
And you got very cool terrain. About half of seeds give stipid hills without trees with this generator.

But, if you want to make it compatible:
If you want install NBXlite before Optifine and (optional) don't copy vl.class from Optifine.
If you want install Olddays after Optifine.

No 1.3 is ADDING Mod API (Mod Support)! There isn't a Mod API right now!
