I have so much free time and i love the idea even if i was never really into pokemon. But if someone is willing to teach me how to do models or code a little, i would help with the mod. God damn, i want to help you so bad but i dont know how because i know nothing at all about coding. Please someone teach me! Or if you have any idea how i could help, give me a call. Like i said, i have too much free time and i have to do something useful with it.
I LOVE POKEMON - will you pokemon have like Moves? You should talk to the PokeBall Mod maker and see if you two can combined the mods, unless your making your own Pokeball

I planned on making a better pokeball/pokeball system, But I may talk to him about it. also yes the pokemon have moves I have already coded bulbasaur's razor leaf but right now its a little OP. also I may be looking for testers eventually when I have the mod at an enjoyable point.
Im not a hundred percent shure how you plan on doing this. But good for you if you can. But i have a suggestion if your up for it or not. But for the whole xp and leveling and what not. Why not take a look at the McMMO plugin for bukkit. It may seem odd for me to suggest. But it could help with the leveling and what not. Example: Eevee battle's Rattata. Eevee Wins gains 34xp. Grows 1 Lv. McMMO tells you that this has happened. Then you put in code that tells the pokemon to transform (grow like in Mo' Creatures) And you have a new pokemon. But you may need to talk to them about it.
Also on a side note. Pokemon spawns. You probably thought of this but. Bioms? Eevee spawn in grass areas. Crabby by sand and water. That type of thing. You probably already thought of it but its all just suggestion. You can take it for whats it is worth.
But if you want help doing skins and other idea's just ask if youd like. Im not here to guide you but i am a person that wants this mod to be super amazing and better than everyone else. But i dont know anything about coding and all that. Only 17 and going to collage for that soon. But i can point you to other people's work that you can at least look at so your not lost in the dark

Hey man thanks for the support and advice. I have thought of the biomes thing, currently I am just trying to hammer down taming and the pokeball mechanics. As for leveling, I am not quite sure exactly how I am going to do this but I think its going to go along the lines of the leveling in creeps and wierdos. also If anything comes up that I need help with I will certainly let you know.
Also as a tid bit I am 19 and I am going to college to be a cop :dry.gif: I am going to switch to programming I think because it seems to be my nitch. If you go to my channel on youtube you can check out some things I already scripted for adventurecraft.=D
OH WOW creeps and wierdo's lvling looks nice. But yea anything i can help you with at all. I did use to run a minecraft server so i know all the working's on the plugins and all that jazz with ModLoaderMP and ext. So if you need a server let me know. i can setup one for you if youd like for your awsome video's just in case you dont like playing alone. Also if you like Skype me. Same name ^.^ But yea i would love to help where i could because i want this mod to come to life. Its just one of the mods that's needing to be made. (Timbit: actually own over 1k cards of pokemon.) And could do any TRY and do any skins that you dont have time for like Eevee just let me know. And just saying but you should get Eevee in asap. Because he is the boss of all pokemon.
JUST HAD THOUGHT! Taken into account Fire stone, Water Stone, Lightning Stone. Stuff like that. Badges, those triangle sandwich they have. ?Armour? Potion, Revive. Fossil pokeom? Sorry just random thought's. But yea give me a shout, as soon as summer ends i got lots of free time to do stuff on my pc. Also Legendary Birds should be ride able. Just saying it would be nice to actually USE your Fly move's right xD.

Yeah I am doing the pokemon in numerical order but I could include eevee in the first pack because that would be kinda cool. also as for items (and i will add this to the original post) i plan on having almost everything that is in the games within reason. so i will definately have things like the stones, the revives and rarecandys etc. I plan on fully utilizing HMs so like a pokemon could use cut on a tree and instantly cut it down. =D

Well actually I will be adding in my own pokeball mechanics but that mod will probably be compatible it just wouldn't work well with it
Maybe but I am not sure if it would fit the model properly considering the model isn't even made yet XD
