cant blame people for wanting the update :smile.gif: , personally i'm not too phased about the setbacks, sea has my respect as a modder and creative mind and he can take all the time he wants (within reason of course). i will be a little sad if it takes longer, but i'll just play Mount and blade to kill the time.

I laugh whenever I see bitching on this page. It just go to show everyone doesn't have any hobbies other than minecraft. I know how this guy feels, college is no joke you silly willys. I major in Music Engineering, in many bands including college band, and music theory? Sometimes that **** is just plain wtf. All it does is pile up. My point is sea is better than all of you.
Actually its been 6 Months since you ADDED ANYTHING so really you didnt need to add Towns into the update it wouldve been fine without them. Also get someone else to help with the mod that would make this ALOT faster.

Hey sea hopefully you get to read this and it doesn't get lost in the 'sea' of other posts (see what i did there). I like your work, I come on here every now and then to see if there's an update but not bothered all that much if there isn't one. I like the vids though, helps to see you're still active.
Anyway if you need some help with the mod, let me know - I've been a software engineer for 4 years, even have a degree in games technology, worked for a couple studios and made my own games. Hell I even have my own indie company. I know plenty of languages including java, just don't ask me to do any models. I know the sort of work that goes into this stuff. People don't often realise that just cause something seems easy, doesn't make it so and can take time working out the best way to do things. I'm like you, have other projects and a life but can help with some of smaller things, bug fixes, etc if you need.
Just to note I never looked into minecraft modding before so you'd have to point me how to get the code and stuff but wouldn't take me long to get setup - I've skimmed through the pokemobs code before, seems straight-forward enough.
Either way don't worry about all the peeps going nuts, they're just bored and impatient and don't forget all the ones who are patient don't often post stuff, just check and come back later. Don't try to please everyone, make the mod for you - I'm assuming that's why you started it in the first place. If you wanted to satisfy them, release some of the smaller updates whilst you work on the bigger ones like towns. You can use source control or just 2 copies if the code overlapps, though that can get tricky sometimes.
Oh god.... I'm getting the urge to troll.... I should get help from my buddies down at TA (Trolls Anonymous). Maybe they can stop me but I don't know... so many openings, so many ways to troll. My troll sense are overwhelming me. Somebody stop me soon.... must... stay... clean....

Look, sea, i can see what you are saying, but it doesnt make sense to keep telling people you will update and not following through just because people are whining for info...it honestly is just going to cause more complaints when that date comes and passes...
My whole point in what i have been saying is that it just makes more sense to not give people dates and get thier hopes up...
If it takes months to update thats cool, it is just better if you would say it wont be updated for months, then people dont feel let down...
You do excellent work when you do it, so keep that in mind, you just need to work on your interpersonal communications
