After having discovered pokemobs I have looked everywhere on how to get it installed with no success. I HAVE followed the installation correctly folders go into right areas, only transferred certain files, deleted META-INF, blah blah blah. Each time I do so I open up minecraft and try going into both my personal multiplayer test server, my cousins multiplayer server, and my single player server. None of them show pokemobs 4.0 or w/e in the lower right corner and I cannot see pokemon or apricorn trees anywhere. PLEASE SOMEONE tell me what I must do to get this to work. I am using a mac if that makes installation any different. Please don't just refer me to some youtube video, I have watched and tried almost all the tutorials pertaining to pokemobs and I have tried asking many others for assistance. I just want to get this mod installed. Also will MCPatcher help at all??? I have used it for a texture pack, so I don't know if it would help with this. AND yes I have uninstalled the texture pack and have no other mods when trying to install Pokemobs.
ANY assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please don't just over look this, I really need help.

Yes I am using Minecraft 1.8
you need to copy the files into the relevant folder rather than dragging them like the tutorials show, also, it doesn't work on smp yet so check it on singleplayer first.
also, apricorn trees only spawn on new chunks so it would probably best to make a new map to check it worked

Alright so I did that and started a new map, still nothing. Is there a way to know if it was installed? Will it say pokemobs 4.0 or w/e in the lower right corner?

it should do, so you installed modloader, audiomod and modloadermp first right? all for version 1.8.1?
and then copied all the stuff in the pokemobs folders into the relevant folders in the minecraft folders?
I think pokemon are only going to have 4 moves like the games, I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to send out multiple at once but I'm sure the other 2 suggestions are being implemented at some point.
MissingNo needs to be spawned in.
that bug is probably because it fell from a great height, you just need to release it over 3 deep water to stop it from happening.

Yes i did put them in the relevant folders as well with the pokemods stuff. When I make a new map it still doesn't say anything in the lower corner. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong?

you must be doing something wrong but without seeing you try and install it I don't know what it is... you say that the game runs ok? even if you try and mine something? usually if somethings been installed wrong it crashes...

I'm going to try to and record what I am doing and post it, maybe that way I can have people understand and see what I am doing.

I couldn't see anything wrong with it but looks like a couple of other people have already helped, I don't know the whole procedure on a mac...
