Hi, when I do the %appdata% i get the .minecraft folder but there isn't a bin folder.

Well that explains a lot. Sitting around waiting on this and it's been abandoned. Thanks for the heads up, time to find a new mod.

bin folder was before the 1.6 update.
You can use forge or install it another way.

Is there another 1.7.4 non-forge minimap mod that I can use temporarily until Rei updates his to 1.7.4?

there's a thing called journey map that looks interesting (http://journeymap.techbrew.net/) it will be 172 "soon" but at least it's alive. I haven't tried it yet cause I'm waiting for some worldgenning mods to update

Actually Zan's Minimap (Now VoxelMap) has two versions, only one is forge-based, the other one isn't, you can find it in planetminecraft,com

I can't seem to get past the pops ups. What is the name of the file? I keep getting this file ODM.exe when I try to download .

I would say that file is a virus, maybe copy the link to the jap site, put it in google, have google translate it, then find the link to the download (if you can get by the bad translations) and try it that way. other than that I can't think of anything else to help you, i've had to do the same thing on my own.

Can somebody give me a link or explain how to install rei's minimap [1.7.2] with forge[1.7.2]? I cant see rei's minimap as a mod with installed forge, but i need and minimap and forge because i need to connect other mods into 1.7.2 client too. Or at least give advices how to install rei's minimap without forge and connect other addons and play with them together... Excuse me i know im slowpoke I spent 2 days and didn't found nothing here on our forum and youtube

Rei's Minimap 1.7.2 is just not forge compatible.

I am trying to create a public pack for the FTB launcher geared towards a Skyblock style of play. Can you please grant permission for me to include this mod?

There really is no need to.
Y'see Rei is not very active around MCF anymore.
You'll have to use twitter or the Japanese Forums, to ask.

But it's okay as long as you link back to this topic, and add his name.

Player hasn't been here for like half a year or more, if it happens that someday we see a come back, then you may ask, but considering this is basically a pretty abandoned project, I don't see the problem on including it in a modpack

15+ trackers detected with Ghostery and no post delete button.

For the record, he's been doing beta tests of the 1.7.2 version, based on his last Twitter post. Hasn't gotten that beta file Forge-compatible.

Mind you, that was at the turn of the new year, so no idea if he's still working on it.
