Have you tried a double back slash? (\\)? That normally escapes the escape so you can escape the escape while you escape.
Also, can't wait for the 1.9 Mumfrey. I hate to ask but your post is correct, it's hard not using it after I've been using it. I'm wondering about an ETA if you wish to share one, Much obliged.
You are right, Mumfrey. After using this macros mod for 1.8 all the time, after updating to 1.9, everything is so much more difficult. Please prioritize this mod's updating so that the masses can devour the 1.9 update.
But my next problem is that I want to get the items in an inventory, and actually read their Lore to dicide which ones need to be taken out. Is that even possible?
There may be some obscure way but i don't really remember.., probably not?
How do I divide my code into methods, or how javascript calls it, functions, using an @? Perhaps @eat, in one file, that runs when it needs to eat. Perhaps
@eat
{
pick(steak)
key(use)
//I know this won't work but you understand my question.

The only way is to use file includes.., however, the number of those you can use is quite limited..
Exec also works, without limit, but it spawns new asynchronous processes...
If you desperately need unlimited functions, you can give http://mkb.gorlem.ml/scripts/53eb72e76a8c7 a try.., but tread with care
Anyone know how to use onPickupItem command? I want to have it where as soon as a gold nugget goes into my inv it does /block
How do I search chat for a backslash? This is what I have in my onChat:
IFMATCHES(%CHAT%,"\: ")
LogTo("log.txt", Cow!)
My theory on why it's not working is because backslash's are commonly used as escape characters in strings. How would I get around this?

Can't believe I haven't used this macro before. Awesome mod Mumfrey I also can't wait for 1.9 version.
Put this in the onPickupItem event:
$${
IF(ITEM = "gold_nugget");
ECHO("/block");
ENDIF;
}$$

I need help with detecting a server message, I just cant get it to work.
The message looks like this:
I hope someone can help me.
STRIP(&chat,%CHAT%)
IFMATCHES(%&chat%,^\[Skyblock\] Skyblock startet in 1 Minute neu)
I think.
Yes it works, thanks a lot
Is it possible to make the macro disconnect and like reconnect after a certain amount of time?
I have another request for a script
I want an autominer that mines for like a minute and then pauses for like 1 second and starts again all over again.
Is this possible?
And how would you make it :3 I'm just to dumb to get it to work. :/ Thanks in advanced.
EDIT: Nevermind I got it to work

No, I don't see the point really so I'm just updating directly to 1.9.
Where would I be able to find the download link for 1.9?
There isn't one.
