The prehistoric creatures I like I only like because they are huge vicious killers, and would be 20 blocks long... LOL. How would I fit a kronasaurus in a pool!
you all lied about T-rex they said it can only destroy all blocks that weaker than iron but my house make oh gold blocks it still can be destroyed by the T-rex

Gold is a very soft metal IRL, and same in Minecraft. Don't use it if you're looking for strength :tongue.gif:

Oh god... Not Kronosaurus... That was the largest aquatic reptile, right? Either way, it's a scary bastage. I'm already paranoid of the water on Minecraft with that Mosasaurus loose!
This may be a bit late... but i didn't notice that my texture for the Dinosaur Eggs have been used since the model was somewhat adapted.
So thx for that! :biggrin.gif:
BUG REPORT TIME: Raptors are friendly, with this i mean that they don't attack you... AT ALL, not even when you hit them. they do however make the sound that they turned aggressive towards the player but just wander around normally.
BUG REPORT #2: Dinosaurs are animals, with which i mean that they go faster once you hit them just like animals. When you hit a pig it runs away, causing it to go faster. The same goes for all dinosaurs, making escaping a dinosaur attack almost impossible.
'BUG' REPORT #3: This isn't really a bug, but just a feature that needs to be edited by my opinion. Whenever you are <number> blocks away from an egg when it hatched the dinosaur that hatched will be tamed. So can you make it that untamed Raptors are aggresive towards the player to add more realism. Because right now the only aggresive land Dinosaur is the T-Rex.
BUG REPORT #4: Stegosauruses don't make any sounds, AT ALL. There are some Stegosaurus sounds in the Dinosaur sound folder i gave you. Same goes for the future Spinosaurus, Dilophosaurus and MANY more.
Also, about the cow hurting sound: There is a decent dinosaur hurt sound in that folder aswell, just explore it ENTIRELY and you'll find some really usefull and awesome sound. :wink.gif:
Well I'm repairing these bugs that you reported now.
Bug1:That because they think you are to strong. But I changed it.Now they will attack players in suck case.
Bug2:But I'd rather let player still have a chance to live.
Bug3&4:Oh well..They should be.I'll fix it.
I wouldn't mind Herrarasaurs. Since 90% of all the dinosaurs and other critters in this mod seem to be from the cretacious period, i'd like a Triassic dinosaur.
Also, when I went to download the Too Many Items mod, I didn't get the fossils mod... though that could have been because I didn't update Minecraft at that time yet. the downside is that now I can't try it out anymore since I updated everything.
As for a bugfix I can reccomend from what I saw, my triceretops were't eating. I'm not sure why, but they weren't eating the ferns or going to the feeder. In fact, they were just standing around doing nothing. and they weren't stuck either, they could move when i got onto them.
As for other little things, I would say that all dinosaurs should have more health. The Triceretops has the same ammount you do when they should have at least twice that.
also, the dinosaurs seem to just stop once they grow fully. at least for triceretpos and stegosaurs. I also don't know if this was intentional or not, but the triceretops is friggen LOUD. even as a baby.
Well..that's a tough bug.And fixing it got prize.
By now(next version),They can move correctly after fixing, but some of their body may penetrate blocks, players, etc.
Of course!riding are still possible.Don't worry.

Id like to see more dinosaur interaction in the future like if 2 full grown T-Rex are in overlaying territory they fight for it or a t-Rex/raptor fighting triceratops to eat them and the triceratops making a circle around the baby triceratops or raptor actually moving as a pack I mean yeah they ATTACK in a pack but this is only because there going after the same mob I'd like to see a definite leader of a pack that leads them and they follow him/her and actully BE a pack rather than wander separately unless they happen to wanna eat the same pig

Thank for your idea :wink.gif:
But in fact, some of them are already done.
Raptors have their leader in fact. But it's hard to know which one is.
(That's because they re-select their leader whenever the game was loaded. And defeating leader won't gain any advantage since the group will re-select their leader in 0.1 second.)
T-rexes should fight for their territory. But somehow that behavior didn't obvious.
Making circle to protect children is cool. But it's really really difficult.Thank for the suggestion anyway. :wink.gif:
Hi guys, I took the effort to look at you facebook blog and holy sh*t I saw some epic stuff, firstly the f*cking time machine, looks awsome, secondly the pig woman empress, she looks fab, and finaly the saber tooth tiger, baby so cute, adult scary, and I saw your words about it may be in the next update .
Yeah our art-designer posted many things there. And we're working hard to make'em work in game.

You have used wrong version of Forge or Minecraft.

Dear Flammarilva, as much as the next person, I would love for more Dinosaurs and such to be added into the mod, but I think it should be that more Herbivores should be added into the mod before more carnivores.

Yeah, Triceratops is an Herbivore and so is the Stegosaur.
T-rex, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, Mosasaurus and Plesiosaur are carnivores.
And, the Ammonites are filter-feeders, correct? Either way, yes, exactly what I am talking about. I'd definitely love to see a Therizinosaurus or a Brachiosaur ingame.
When this mod updates to 1.1 will the names of the items be affected when you have minecraft set on a different language? if so, i'd love to help with the Dutch translation. :wink.gif:
Between a week after Forge release.
Also,Muti-language is in plan. But I have to test and see if my understanding is right.
After that,I'll be here and ask if anyone could help on it.

It's very hard for mods like this to work for MP. Hopefully with the next batch of updates we might be able to see mods like this one in MP.
Technically speaking, gold is "weaker" than iron.
Try using any Gold tools.
Though the upside is that it's heavy, so... Strength in weight, not in durability?
