You guys remind me of the kids that cry when servers don't update to 1.2.

On a side note, I really recommend changing the mod host from mediafire to rapidshare or 4shared.
Mediafire block adfly links so everytime someone clicks skip they will be taken to the homepage of Mediafire instead.
It's a pain but rapidshare and 4shared are the best alternatives to mediafire that you can get.
Dropbox is good but your links will get blocked as it's not intended to be a mass file distribution site.
There is a way to get adfly and mediafire working together but it's too much of a pain and I think it will get blocked eventually anyway.

I have not even d/ld your mod yet... but it is essentially the same idea I had after playing MC for the first time (1.1 release). So +1 at least!

Id like to see this for 1.2.3 as soon as possible, i love this mod. Also do you think you could start clustering the ruins into like ruined towns? Making them harder to find but maybe they are like ruined npc villages or shanty towns. Its kinda too easy and boring when all the loot chests are evenly spaced around. And perhaps work with the siege mechanic introduced in 1.2 since it would really make survival harder. The mod is hard to start out but it quickly gets boring once you get some stuff together. It needs further fleshing out. Like start having some custom content like mobs or items, post apoclayptic stuff like maybe healthkits and razorwire. And maybe have your own spin of mutated mobs, id like the idea of some zombie boss that is like the l4d tank and can damage structures. And id like to see some degree of passive mobs that spawn, but do so very rarely. Like i said, this mod can get boring once you are not running from place to place getting enough materials to start something or move into a library. There isnt much to do after you settle down.

One other thing, please update the patches already, 1.7.2 was months ago and i want to use finite liquids mod on this mod since it prevents the infinite water making.
The thing i want most though is this to be 1.2 asap. This mod combined with a few others makes a great expierence. I want to play this mod again as soon as possible. At least make the most basic port possible to 1.2 for now. I have been asking my friends for a clean 1.1 minecraft.jar so I can play this again. Even in its current state its quite epic.

If you wanna reduce your minecraft client to vanilla, just go into your .minecraft folder and right click the bin folder. Go into properties for that folder and select previous versions tab. The oldest one should be the clean one with no mods.

I honestly hope this mod has not met its end, it was my favorite of the wasteland style mods and I saw great potential for it. Its been too long for an update. If you are still working on this mod weasel, give us a sign.

i believe asking a mod to update is not supposed to done but it is one of the most ignored rules ever the worst they do in these cases is lock the topic till the mod updates
