This doesnt work for 1.2.4 because modloaderMP has not been updated yet /
You do know the "Smart Moving for ModLoader" package can work with ModLoadermMp...Smart Moving doesn't depend on ModLoaderMp unless you're using the "Smart Moving client for ModLoaderMp package"...
Do what I do, bind Grab to Q, and sprint to E, might have to rearrange some other bindings but that works well for me.
You didn't read my post entirely. I disabled Divisor's sprinting so I cannot bind the sprinting button. I'm too lazy to enable it so I have to change the "List Players" button to GRAVE. Even with your controls, I cannot drop my items anymore since I'm used to Q as drop
What all files do you need to install to get it work in server? Me and my friend have both succesfully installed the mod for ourselves but we cant get it to work on our server, We have installed API server and modloadermp server files to the minecraftserver.jar file, but do we need to install some more files in there?
E: Btw, in the multiplayer installation video we saw that there were 2 more files in smarmoving.zip, but they arent there anymore in the newest version? Are they deleted on purpose of should they be there?
*facepalm* Look around, is there any 1.2.4 ModLoaderMp? Currently you cannot install any mods/ModLoaderMp mods on your server/client unless you're using a fan update or something EDIT: SDK'S ModLoaderMp is updated, you now have to wait for Divisor
i hate the slipery factor when you're grabing something or holding to a ladder, i think its a vanilla thing, but makes no sense.
i would prefer if your character stayed horizontally stopped even when you're holding W to go up, to strafe while climbing you should use A and S only.
would it be to hard? to make it optional maybe.
Nevertheless, great mod. me and my girlfriend (who is not even close to a hardcore player) love it.
playing 1.2.3 happelly while waiting for the update.
Ok got rid of the other problem. Suddenly struck me that i have used it, and a TON of other mods before so it wouldnt be unlikely if it was turned off. :3
Ok so got another more serious problem. Modloader 1.2.4 Yup! ModloaderMP 1.2.4 v1 Yop! Player API 1.2.4 Yep! Smart Moving for ModloaderMP 1.2.4 Yap! Now this = this?

Will there ever be a GUI that allows the SM physics to be edited in-game, or is this impossible due to engine limitations? It's a huge chore to edit the file to figure out exactly what does what and how much it does it, and have to restart Minecraft every time.

When I am playing with smart moving I am noticing that I can not crawl under 1 block length locks, it shakes up and down rapidly and when i do crawl underneath I take suffocation damage, is this a bug or something I can edit in the config?

Well it looks like you're trying to break the laws of physics...

Could you by any chance give the enable/disable smart moving gui instead of making it a togglable key? And possibly relocate the key mapping options normally under the "controls" section. I recommend using GUI API to get all options and organized in one section under "global mods". Just a thought, and it would be helpful.
So divisor do you like my idea?
...It's coming soon
Looks like it

Divisor currently has to make a Smart Moving ModLoaderMp client and server using SDK's ModLoaderMp. (when he released 7.3, ModLoaderMp wasn't updated)
