Arrg here is the link you requested for corsos pet/nightmare/move + mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=86872
Also Mo Creatures just updated so you know what that means... :smile.gif:
Also if you can plse may you get optifog to work. It really would help a lot.
Everything else is great
Jairdfm,
Thanks for the link and heads up about Mo Creatures. We've been missing that since Beta 1.3_01
Sorry about 'Optifog'. It conflicts with 'Optimine'. My hands are tied.
All,
Untill 'Ruins' is updated, we can use world files I generated using an previous version of AMCO.
These worlds also work on AMCO for Beta 1.5_01.
Download is on the front page, and also here: Saves.rar
Here's what's inside:
Pyramid, Pirite Ship, Tree Houses, Wells, Sand Trap, Sand Castle, Baloons, Frozen Trees, Igloos, and much more.
Most structures have both treasures and traps, so be carefull out there.
Luxander,
Mad scientists seem to be normal on my systsm (apearing rarely, and yes, hard to kill, so don't go unprepaired).
The entire mod can be turned off by editing 'ModLoader.cfg" (as described above).
Change "mod_MoreCreepsAndWeirdos=on" to "mod_MoreCreepsAndWeirdos=off".
I'll give those nutty professors a second look tonight as well.
Arrrg
Aha. Thank you muchly. I will continue, and hopefully those darned scientists won't bother me anymore.
Oh, and another thing - Is it possible to get Crystal Clear Waters to work with this? It really makes underwater exploration awesome.
I'm not normally big on modpacks, but I decided to check this one out and it didn't look half-bad.
Unfortunately, however, it slowed the game to a crawl on my laptop. Don't worry about my system specs; I know this thing's rather underpowered in the modern day and age and the average user should be fine.
I simply reverted to an unmodded Minecraft and added my usual mods from there, but I did grab your biomecolor and foliagecolor files as they look rather nice, even with the default 16x16 textures! Did you make them yourself, or are they by someone else and I overlooked whom to thank for beautifying my minecraft worlds?
TehKrush,
More on topic, 'Hidden Doors' seems to have item code conflicts with 'Wolf Variations'.
I haven't changed the default codes yet, and just left 'Wolf Variations' out for now.
If you work with Nandonalt, you might agree to stop using the same default codes.
I don't edit any of the same things Nandonalt edits, and any item/block ids can be changed in either of our properties files.
I am not sure if your competitior's mod 'More Doors' has that problem or not, but it does offer even more doors.
HiddenDoors isn't meant to add ~ doors. It's meant to add hidden doors.
Also, your competitor's mod for flowers 'FlowerCraft' has some advantages over yours:
1) All flowers make a different dye. In 'More Flowers' both Hybiscus and Daisy make pink, and Vanilla makes nothing.
MoreFlowers is moreso meant to add just more flowers. It doesn't matter if they can be crafted into different dyes.
2) The blue flowe drops light blue dye instead of Lapis, which preserves game balance better.
I'll probably change that though. EDIT: Blue = Lapis. FlowerCraft uses Light Blue and Cyan dyes.
Also, I noticed the 32x32 textures for 'More Flowers' is missing a texture (you added Hybiscus recently).
This can cause a hard-to-isolate balck screen depending on how the mod is loaded. No it can't.
Since I am the one who makes the 32x32 textures for you, here is an update with a new texture for the new flower. http://www.mediafire.com/?duryf6peygl8ump K.
I really hated the tall grass at first, but not I like the extra colors. They add a lot to the game.
The extra things you can craft give you more to look forward to, and the texture pack really looks nice.
At the expense of sounding exactly like what you said not to on the first post; troubleshooting? i.e. back screen
That's all the info I have, not much else
I think i found it:
it has to do with the ar.class or aq.class
or one of the other class files
Luander,
Glad to hear you are enyoying it.
Maybe Mo Creatures will be more your cup of tea; trying to fit it into next update.
SoNick,
See page 2 of the forum for tips on fighting lag.
I made the custom foliagecolor.png and grasscolor.png files, along with the 'Wild Grass' textures.
My 32x32 textrues for 'MoreFlowers' / 'FlowerCraft' should be in the next update too:
Infigo,
'HD Texture Fix' modifies ar.class. 'Tool Utils' modifies aq.class. These kinds of black screen conflicts are most often caused by not starting with a fresh copy of the game (step 2 of the install). If you followed the istall instructions and are still having trouble, I'm not sure what is wrong. Sorry about that, but let us know if you get it figured out.
All,
I'm currently trying to get'NetherCraft'into the mix.
It is a huge mod with lots of new items, blocks, armors, and tools.
It's a tough fit, but should liven up the Nether quite a bit.
It still needs 32x32 textures too, so that's a lot of work this weekend, wish me luck.
hey I installed everything like the instructions told me, however none of the mods appear to be on or working, not even the texturepack included in it.
it may have something to do with the "MINECRAFT Files" that you said to place int the minecraft folder, my computer just says ".minecraft" for it, could you pm me a solution? i would vee grateful, thanks
Hey Arrrg!
I managed to get optimine and optifog to work together. If you install optimine first optifog is compatible.
The only issue, besides other mods and stuff, is wheter or not you can set which one gets installed first, through a mod pack without sooo many complications.
Anyway Great pack like always!
First off i love this pack, i am really excited for your update, any idea when?
Also if i may suggest, i recently found a mod called ye olde minegunner which i think is amazing and would fit very well with this mod pack. Thank You

the only rational explanation to an insane world is insanity
This is good in concept. Bad in practice. The two mods in this pack I don't want are impossible to disable. They're not in the config file. Optimine is insanely buggy, and ConvenientInventory breaks TooManyItems. Probably won't use this mod, but I might. Optimine also breaks like a lot of useful codes, such as the Jetpack in IndustrialCraft.
EDIT: Tried this mod for a minute. It lags quite a bit, and half the mods are like 10 updates old.
There are no up to date mods as far as I know.
Using this and about 20 other mod = epic win, and epic lag. Went to 16x16 and turned off wildgrass and now i have 100+! [All hail Minecraft Extended!] Good job. Saved me hours of getting these mods to work together, and showed me some cool mods I didn't know about.
Great modpack! It's nice that you supplied alternative HD textures for some of the mods, however it would be better if you gave a link to mcpatcher and Glimmar's pack in the instructions but keep the textures for the mods included.

Neckbeards! Doctor Cichocki does not approve of stupidity and neither do I, stop the spread of damned useless rules!
ok i love this mod first off but i keep getting crashes for some random reason. it started happening randomly and now every time i load up my world i take 2 steps and crash. so i reinstall right and now it just happens after every 2 steps. even when i let the map load up all the way it still happens. i have no idea what to do and i was hoping some one could help me out with my problem thanks even if you cant though.
This was happening to me too. Did you have GLSL graphics thing installed? If so, delete the .nitrous folder and make sure there is nothing left in the registry. Also try to once again delete the whole Minecraft folder (backup your saves and stats) and download Minecraft. That worked for me.
i cant find anything about GLSL graphics any where and i have reinstalled Minecraft like 6 times. can you give me a path at all to find this GLSL graphics thing because other wise i don't think i have it
When i first play a game i always read the wiki/info on it and get all the background info.. so if you wouldn't mind, could you set up some sort of item/block/ore page that shows all the added features, rather then a readme with a boring list? :biggrin.gif: just a suggestion...
Btw great Package of mods!
Are you sure? I think its overwritten. It took forever to mine coral, upon adding ToolUtils, it took about one quarter of that time.
Also, I'll get some screenshots to show this things pure awesomeness, and I'll see if I can learn to make a banner. So far, I have this.
