Hey Arrrg :smile.gif:
This pack is amazing fun, even though I haven't quite worked out what half the mods do yet...
Anyway, I think it would be awesome if you could add The Laser Mod ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/515159-100-the-laser-mod-v12-drill-panels-and-more/ ), and I sincerely apologise if this has been previously suggested, as I could not find it.
Thank you for making suck an awesome modpack :smile.gif:
Has anyone asked anything about Balkon's Weapon Mod? Y U NO MAKE IT COMPATIBLE? I would seriously enjoy that and if it IS already in there then how does one turn it on?
Arrrg!
Please add scokeev9's new itemspriteAPI!
It makes it so you have 2560 sprites automatically!
its incompactible for 1 (not compactible with forge, which buildcraft&redpower both require
and for two, you missed a technicality.

Item sprites, thats litterally nothing. You want terrian sprites, not item sprites.
I dont know why but for some reason treecapitator never works for me. I only have that one mod on and it still never works... And i know that most the other mods seem to work.
Nevermind it somehow started to work again!
It only seems to work with vanilla axes.
If you're using a ruby, emerald, sapphire, or norman axe, thats probably why.

If you mean the ISAPI 4.0 Its not compatible with forge yet. And forge is at 1.2.3 now(which is needed for the new RP2pr4b)but that is also incompatible with ID resolver for now. Im sure PwnGod will make the item api 4.0+forge patch and Dev of id resolver will update his patch
You also need optifine C or higher if you do use optifine and update to Forge 1.2.3/RedPower2 pr4b)
Arrg, I am looking into starting my own modpack, I do have a few questions, there below. If you have time and don't mind answering them, then please do :smile.gif:.
Firstly, where should I first post the modpack, should i just post here after gathering a small amount of permissions, should i post it in the WIP mod section. I would love to know where to go with organizing this.
I am not trying to create another random modpack with mods that don't go well together, i am trying to create a modpack that will change the way minecraft is played for the better. This being said, when you started asking for permissions did you get denied alot, did you have to donate to make them agree with you, is there any speciail circumstances you had to agree with?
How do i setup an installer, is there an easy way to do that? As i said i don't want this to be just another modpack, i want it to be a actual modpack.
I have almost picked about an amazing name, so no issues there :biggrin.gif:.

Thanks mate for your time. :smile.gif:
I've had some experience with this... people will be people, some will be very helpful to you, others will accuse you of trying to steal their code, some will forget they told you it was ok. So i suggest keeping copies of conversations between you and coders so if it comes down to it you can point at the copy and say "look... this is what you said."
And I'd make use of the WIP section while/until you have a modpack that's really worthy of scrutiny, you probably wouldn't want to post a modpack that only had 5 mods in it in the main section, you'd get a lot of snickering. But really that's personal preference, up to you, the WIP section is new so people are used to seeing uncompleted works in the main section for the most part.
And make sure you do like Arrrg and post in BIG GIANT LETTERS that you got coders permissions or everyone and their uncles is going to take it upon themselves to yell at you.
Hope to see you get that off the ground. Good luck. Make sure to post back here when/if you get something. I'd check it for sure.
Arrg inspired to make my own custom modpack. I wish i could release but i cant for obvious reasons, but i did hook up my real life friends with it, and advised them to still go to each mod page and download their mods(for adfly clicks) and just delete them. My personal modpack is better then Amco & Technik put together, all from the help of good people on the forums and especially following Arrg. The best mods i have hands down would be McForge & IDresolver.
With thousands of mods floating around its a shame no one has picked up mcextended or made a mod to increase terrain sprites. It's sad. To me that should be a high priority so i would be thrilled to just atleast have 500 block ids and 500 terrain sprites at my expense. I dont need that much - just enough to add the few more mods i cant add because they dont use forge or merge their block ids, or just have too many terrain sprites, which is why Arrg has to make different setups.
Anyone out there have the AMCO Mod pack running with Mo' Creatures? The AMCO description says they "should" still be compatible, but I've had no luck. If anyone has them working together, what did you have to do in addition to the basic instructions?

Mo creatures doesnt use block ids i dont see a problem. Make sure per mo creatures instructions u are installing the custom mob spawner mod and also dont just drop the mo creatures zip in the folder. Drop the zip inside the download in the mods folder and the resources inside the .minecraft folder. I made this noob mistake once awhile back.
I mean Arrrg's first post, and I only have AMCO installed. Vanilla minecraft works fine, and I don't get to the menu to choose single or multiplayer. I don't run a server at all.
EDIT:I turned all the mods in the modloader.cfg file off, but the error still happens. The error message says it can't find Minecraft.class inside the minecraft.jar, but it is there, at the file path specified, but part of it says "GL ERROR", so is this anything to do with it?
AMCO conflicts with "Zombe's Fly Mod". It goes to "saving chunks" if I try to hit something or dig, and then crashes...I am trying to use just the "fly" feature, all other zombe features are disabled...any suggestions?

And will Level Up make a comeback anytime soon?
Its on like i said and i dont have Optifine installed.

My bad. Thanks for the info though!
I did not know that.

You can add the item IDs into the config file, if you can find out what they are.
