It only happens with your mod in otherwise modloader works fine
I see you both are using 1.5.1. I have not yet had a change to test with 1.5.1.
It works perfectly with 1.5, so I have to assume things changed in 1.5.1.
I may have to update the mod to 1.5.1. I will test this when freetime allows, (most likely Monday).
If the modloader verison works on forge why isnt on mine
Double check what version Minecraft you're using and how you're installing. This hasn't been updated to 1.5.1 yet. I personally got problems with it trying to play it in 1.5 using Forge and MC Patcher. The best I could get was the sounds and interface, but the actual model changes wouldn't work for me. I had to use only Forge to get it to work in 1.5
Hey iPixeli, I am a fellow bukkit plugin developer and a modder, and I was wondering how you allowed them to communicate? Is it something to do with the 255CustomPayloadPacket? Regardless of if yes or no, can you please help me?
People like you are what keeps me going in creative spirits. Thank you kindly.
I realize I've been quiet for awhile, so here is a status update: PlayerAPI: Finished RenderPlayerAPI: Not Running
Wait, you're finally buckling down on Smart Moving compatibility? No wonder you haven't been seen in a while. Also: Yes. Yes. I am very excited. Hopefully, when Smart Moving compatibility is finished, popularity in this mod will spike. That will have down side too, though... I can see the trolls now. Lord Malric is not amused.

Lol, well this hasn't been the only reason
Its odd that I am able to get PlayerAPI to work but not RenderPlayerAPI. Soon, I hope to publish my first public Git on GitHub as a tutorial to help modders using it in the future.
I've been talking with Divisor, and it turns out the issue I've been facing with RenderPlayerAPI wasn't my code, but a result of the MCP environment. Because in MCP's environment theres the modloader in the jar and the deobfuscated java files.
Quote from Divisor »
Render Player API version 1.1 that has been improved to always initialize the correct ModLoader.
Now uses PlayerAPI & RenderPlayerAPI (Edits 0 classes)
These bugs no longer exist: Rendering for players sneaking and holding items
Known issues: Zombie Gender, SmartMoving Rotation
Even though Gender loads correctly (see log below) neither the age modifiers nor the gender modifiers change anything. If pictures would be helpful, feel free to mention it.

@EDIT: Except the sounds. They are working. ^^
I need:
• to know any other mods you have installed
• to see entire console as the below only proves the main class of each API can be found in the classpath.
2013-04-11 08:01:38 [Information] [STDOUT] [Gender] Client has PlayerAPI: true
2013-04-11 08:01:38 [Information] [STDOUT] [Gender] Client has RenderPlayerAPI: true
The issue is that RenderPlayerAPI isnt running on your end.
Please ensure the version you are using is up to date.
RenderPlayerAPI should initialize two more classes of mine.
Like how PlayerAPI initialized this one:
2013-04-11 08:32:46 [Information] [STDOUT] [Gender] PlayerGender init

I find it hilarious, feel free to have a good laugh:
As for any modders out there who may be lurking, I've put up a basic tutorial/example code for both APIs.

Try manually installing RenderPlayerAPI by putting the contents of RenderPlayerAPI's zip file into the minecraft.jar
Then rebuild (if using MultiMc).
Here is that video, way sooner than expected.

I use Optifine to increase FPS XD
Its not Gender that's not working with Forge. Its RenderPlayerAPI that's not working with Forge.
I wonder if Divisor has anything to say about this.

It is working for me too. Don't forget to click ReBuild when using MultiMC
