This is a map generator idea with a bit of physics reworking thrown in.
The rules:
Space itself has no gravity. Any moving object stays moving in it's current direction when between islands.
Islands will generate as (relatively) small planetoids, with despotions toward rocky or "lively" islands, with an outer soil/plant shell and a rocky core.
Any block you hit becomes your flour. Yes, placed blocks will be oriented upwards relative to you if you place them.
Saplings, logs, mushrooms and wooden planks produce air using the same model as light. Air will use the cloud texture to distinguish it from vacuum.
Space itself has no air. Your character will "drown" unless it's in air.
I don't have any programming experience, so will some one try doing this for me?

two: This sounds like an absolute nightmare to code.
