Thanks for answering all the questions these people are having for me. It's become too overwhelming for me to help everyone with every problem. I appreciate it. :wink.gif:
No problem. i noticed you were not able to really answer ever single "My game has a black screen" post. My i Suggest adding my picture ive been linking to the top of your op? Finite Liquid install walk through
It seems to clear up a lot of the problems people have. :laugh.gif:
I keep getting black screens when i add finityliquid but when only Preader and ModLoader are installed it works fine im using a PC and ive tried everything
P.S. i deleted the manifest(the META-INF)
Look at my reply to djoslin for an install walk through.
Did he update it so it uses the new property reader file yet? And no, I am not going to go through the 10 pages that have been posted since I last checked.

I wish you could add the frames for a quarry in buildcraft, its seems like none of the ids stop them from breaking in rain.
Well if have ToomanyItems or CJBMods(ItemSpawn Tap under custom) you find id unnamed pipe(in my game 255) and put that in one of 5 SolidToWater_BlockID which should stop from rain effecting frames of quarry for it.
I struggeled with this but is quite easy to fix really, just check the finite water properties and industrial config and change the id's on one of them (i changed ic id's) with numbers between 160 and 180 (thats what i did)
I tried this, changing the conflicting ID's, but still finite water does not appear on a new map/replace the oceans. MC starts, but finite does not appear. This is indeed frustrating.
Edit: Ok.. so I changed things, started new, no oceans of finite.. but when it rains, it creates finite water, but it doesnt react quite too well. Wont let me place blocks in it, and of course, had to use edit to replace regular water.. which still didnt let me place blocks in the water. So debugging continues. Buldcraft + Industrial + Finite.. still buggy lol..
When i install modloader and preader it works fin and when i install finit i get the black screen and my minecraft stops working the only mods i have installed is modloader and preader i tried the install walk through above but i still get the same problem
Nice mod you have there, I am presently using it with IndustrialCraft now, thanks for the pipefix.
However, I have noticed a bug that I am unsure if it is intentional or not.
On iron blocks, ladders, signs, torches and of course doors... Do not stick.
The issue with that is that my iron block built submarine doesn't work properly, doors pop off and not to mention when under water the upper house is flooded by water.
While iron blocks are rare, they are used to create certain ironish objects and I would like to preserve my submarine with Finite Liquid if possible, if not I will be forced to use stone most likely.

Hello there
First i'll start by saying this is one of the best mods ever, specially for someone who simply loves playing with water (me :tongue.gif:).
I've tried the new version today and i found a quite annoying and odd bug (i think it's na bug, since i don't see it written as a feature anywhere): today i tested the rain causing finite water to appear and when a bit of rain water touched my diamond block statue in the garden the diamond blocks started generating loads of water blocks through the top.
I then tried to do it again, this time without raid and it worked: if any bit of water touches the top of the diamond block it will start producing mass quantities of it.
Well, it can be useful too, when you want to fill a water deposit :tongue.gif:.
I hop this was in any way helpful to inprove your mod.
I am presently stress testing the reactor on FL liquid and so far it seems to work, I am making it chug through stacks of Uranium ingots to see if it goes boom or not...
Also had to set up an automated pump in my reservoir for the reactor.

Diamond blocks producing infinite water is not a bug. It is an unmentioned feature for mass filling ponds, dams, lakes, or other large bodies of water.
I've downloaded Modloader and the property reader, put those in plus the finite water making sure to delete the meta-inf folder. I am getting a black screen, was I suppose to open the folder imgz and put the images into the actual thing or just leave them in the folder like I did.
Sorry to bother, but i have a problem! I get the black screen when i try to install this mod, modloader and the other need mod is installed, also millenair. So i know other mods work?
I can't find a crash log, normally it will say a lines of why it isnt working, but this one says java is not responding, and doesnt work even if i leave it for ages. Both mods ARE installed, i just dont understand why this doesnt work? I am also updated to 1.6.6 Am i using the wrong propertyreader? Wrong version of modloader? i dont think so

You guys that are getting black screens - did you start with a clean minecraft.jar?
Remember - Modloader and PropertyReader have to be installed.
When you download the .zip file you have to add everything (from bb.class to xw.class) and the /imgz/ folder into your minecraft.jar file.
If you don't add everything then you will get a black screen.
It also helps if you post a crash report so that we can see exactly what is causing the game to stop loading.
