No this probably isn't the best place to whine. You were warned that Flowerchild enjoys using the banhammer before signing up for the forums anyways.
Yep :).
But I tried my best not to sound whiny, and I don't even know who and especially why banned me. The fourth rule surely was not broken, I tried my hard to not break the first, I didn't break the second. Must be the third, then?

Well you definitely broke the first rule. You replied to and necro'd a two month old post from a random troll and for all that you added nothing really constructive. To be fair you probably clicked on the unanswered posts button by mistake. It's a dangerous trap for the unwary.
Check the date on what you were responding to, and if the purpose of the post itself wasn't to stir up trouble, I really don't know what it was for.
Oh cr*p, now I feel stupid again.
I believe I was following the link from the Active Topics and I got the impression it was posted like a day ago.
Apparently it wasn't.
The purpose of the post… well, it certainly wasn't to stir up trouble, who would enjoy such weird kind of thing. It was more like I got pissed off by such a behaviour and tried to say that it's totally inappropriate. (Okay, the last sentence was solely for the reason of me being pissed off and tired. I guess I should've just go to sleep).
So, I went against rules #1 and #3 simultaneously… well done, Electronic.
I guess it's too late to say "forgive me Father for I have sinned" and hope for temporary ban.
Seriously, don't. I don't ban usernames...I ban users.
Oh, I understand. I meant creating account for aking for reasons; it will be abandoned after one post, taking useless space in the database. That's exactly the thing I wanted to avoid, so I'm glad the reason became clear.

Hello! I have found a slight bug with the latest release of this mod.(At least I think it is, for all i know it could even be a vanilla bug., though I doubt it) Sometimes, when I open my world to LAN (I often play with my brother), the majority of the work he and I do is removed, as if we didnt do it at all. (Example: Flattening out land for a building project and re-logging on to find that its like we never started) The odd thing is, when I take things out of chests, then log off, I still retain the items when I go back on, but they are also still in the chest, like they were before I touched them, effectively duplicating them.(I try not to abuse this as much as possible.) I just noticed this with the latest release. I have rei's minimap and Sargunster's BTW add on installed, but I doubt thats causing it. Any suggestions?(I am terrible at explaining things, so sorry about that.) Thanks ahead of time!
Aye FC, I remember a while ago you were talking about pulling out Vanilla Anvils for being too much like the repairing system in pre-1.4. Now that you can use raw materials to repair the tools(iron, diamonds and what have you) have you had a change of heart on removing them?
FC: What do you think of an item similar to the Clock, that can tell you whether it is raining or not? It would be called the Barometer.
EDIT: this would exist to protect your windmill before you had access to a BUD.
I don't really see the point in that. You can generally hear the rain, and if you can't, you're so far underground that it doesn't really matter. If you start to go to the surface you'd start to hear the rain. If you really need to know whether or not it's raining, place a detector block facing the sky, and run redstone to some lamps or something. Spread a few lamps around your base, and there ya go. Weather detector.
Quick question: How does one go about actually feeding chickens in order to get them to lay eggs? Right-clicking while holding wheat seeds doesn't seem to do anything, and they don't seem interested in them when I throw them on the ground either.
Also, I've read the rain breaks your windmill gearboxes? What measures can be taken to "weather-proof" a windmill?
Uh can u pls help me on how can I put water in my maps its so hard by the way nice mod thanksUh can u pls help me on how can I put water in my maps its so hard by the way nice mod thanks

To answer your second question, there are three main ways:
1. Build your windmill in a desert; It does not rain in deserts, so it will be fine.
2. Place a DB/BUD (I don't remember which) facing the sky, and then run redstone to the gearbox nearest the windmill. Then, when it rains, the gearbox will be safely disabled.
3. Simply place a lever on the side of the nearest gearbox. Then, when it rains, run up and switch it.

Well, the thing is that night or rain tends to drives you underground since Hardcore Bedding was included. I usually check a clock to tell when I'm going to resurface, and I could see a barometer serving a similar purpose.
Since this would be an item, it also wouldn't consume a blockID and would probably be pretty quick to code. It's not a huge thing, but it's likely not a huge amount of work either. I'll need to take a look at the code to make sure of this, but it might even be possible to include a bit of a predictive element into it so you could tell when it's likely to start or stop raining in the near future.

BUDs take a considerable amount of resources to make, but in the meantime you need some way of trying to protect your windmills from the weather.
Thanks FC, duly noted
Also:
I thought that an interesting aspect would be some degree of inaccuracy; Like, it wouldn't always give you a notification when it was raining, or sometimes it would tell you if it was raining when it wasn't.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you do with this idea.

It's unlikely but miracles do happen on rare occasions...
Eh. All right. I'm a sucker for anything that makes me sound like the leader of some kind of fanatical religious organization
Guess I'll be spending the next few hours listening to Sabbath again to purge my sins.
It's highly unlikely that's a bug with the mod, or I certainly would have heard about it by now
I'd recommend a full reinstall of the mod with a clean .jar. Something has probably gone funky with your copy of MC, which happens from time to time.
Nope.

Honestly, that's not a bad idea. I'll think about it further.
