Found a minor visual bug when placing slabs next to ice, see the following image:
Also, there seems to be some inconsistency with knitting wool vs weaving wicker, when you finish knitting wool, it seems to stack with other knitted wool, whereas wicker just stays in the same slot as was being weaved.
Finally, not sure if this is intentional, but breaking long grass with snow in the same block will also remove the snow.
I also found out today you can harvest Cobblestone using just a Pointy Stick or Sharp Stone. I found an abandoned village and was surprised to obtain the whole block when I mined it. I'm guessing this is an oversight?
Just started playing BTW again and i have to say, watermelon spam is a far superior food as oppose to bothering with wheat/bread & animal farms with each being severely nerfed. Anyone else at this conclusion?

Crop rebalance is an ongoing process. Melons have yet to get the full treatment,
Hey FC, i noticed you mentioned reducing farmland hydration range from 4 to 2 or 1, but it is still 4 in the latest version. While planters are no longer auto hydrated and their hydration range is now 1. Is either a bug or unintended?

I forget the ranges right now, but the planter can now be auto-hydrated from underneath which is an important factor in automation.
Im currently progressing trough villager trading and found that the butcher kind of removed pretty much all need for caring about growing and making food. Im all for tech progression but for me the villager trading just removed the need for doing anything with animals and crops to a large degree. Im having the same issue with a few of the other traders as well where it feels like villagers removes systems instead of making them deeper. Would much rather have them trade me exclusive items like ingredients necessary for making items like late game food and potions and so on. I love the way you made the priest trades necessary for getting some exclusive items for progression and would really like to see more of this. This is just my reaction to the system as it is the first time I am experiencing it.

That's a fair point. I balanced the villager trades before all the crop and animal hunger reworking, so it makes sense that they no longer feel appropriate.
The installation guide in the btw forums installation thread is the official one, and it is already the one linked in the readme. The wiki is player maintained and I have no direct control over it other than occasionally mentioning to people involved with it when something is out of whack (which I did last month).
Default settings / normal difficulty is recommended.
Got no BTW forum user so i'm not able to participate in the "Show us your builds!" thread there. Thought i would try posting it here. I have been using the chewed logs in all my builds since they were added. Such a nice block to build with. Thank you for such an amazing mod FlowerChild! https://imgur.com/a/ajAIKQX
So, it seems this site isn't shutting down.
Well, one of these days, I will actually get past day one in BTW... If I have time... That is the hardest thing to find these days.

Will take a note to do a pass on that.
Cobblestone stairs are called stone stairs. Is this from vanilla?

Ah, cheers. I thought it was that.

Any reason for wheat not growing under light blocks? I'm only able to grow it with direct sky access
Yes.
