I never said I would do it (well, at least without permission) what I said was, if I managed to make a ModLoader version of Thaumcraft (with permission, always), could it have a compability exception with it?
Even if Flowerchild agreed to this, this would then upset all the people who want compatibility with their mod. Not that he would give in- it's that there would be so many people to deal with begging and crying and complaining, etc.
Just to add to this:
BTW is NOT incompatible with ALL mods ( coming close though, and soon enough it will be )
There is no need to make such a "compatibility exception" so long as the btw base classes stay in tact (which is highly unlikely unless you manually recode it to take advantage of FlowerChild's kind hooks into the mod code)
Not too massive of a job, but not a small one either
Can't figure how to get wheat : the wiki isn't up to date, an Iron hoe makes me only get hemp seeds, punching tall grass don't give anything, and villages are now empty of life. I don't like to ask for help but I will not be able to become sedentary without wheat.

You need to find a village with wheat. Only way now.

Wheat seeds can only be obtained from NPC villages or by trading with (or stealing from) other players.

You need to find an occupied village any that spawn with in a certain range of your spawn (can't remember the exact distance) will be abandoned, you should use nether portals to speed up your travel out to get to an occupied village.

From the Wiki:
¡A Modification to the way the hunger system works and the ways in which food can be obtained. It generally makes food harder to get and less effective at feeding the player. Domestic crops, including wheat, can only be obtained in villages, and all raw meat has a substantial chance to poison the player, which is now more problematic, since you cannot eat while poisoned anymore. It also causes the player to lose hunger points at a very slow rate when doing nothing, resolving an exploit on servers where the player could simply not move in order to not eat, and severely increases the penalties of approaching starvation and actually starving by giving effects such as slowness, mining fatigue, and nausea to the player. It should also be noted that it replaces the saturation system with a "fat" system that is visible on the user interface.
I was trying to ask a question similar to the one TheKillman asked under me.
I was talking about your "where did you get the idea for 'foo'"question. It's the second time you've asked something like that, the first I responded to by saying something about dredging out my septic tank.
If I were to answer a question like that in a non-sarcastic manner, what am I supposed to say? My head? My right hemisphere? The idea fairy? The voices that instruct me to kill?
As a question, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. You tend to have ideas, not get them from somewhere.

Yeah, looking back, those questions don't really make a lot of sense. I'll refrain from posting similar questions in the future
Wolves lure the player in a false sense of security. If you keep them happy they know you don't suspect a thing but if you treat them to their true nature, they'll drop the disguise.
Also, giving them meat of the fallen-then-resurrected-then-fallen-again dead might have adverse effects on their health.
After searching a bit more, I can't seem to find the post I was referencing, I assume I am somehow searching the wrong key words or it didn't get posted.
I break blocks and they come back and take some time to finally turn into the item form again
That's vanilla for you. This is a problem that's been around for some time, obviously, but it's reportedly gotten worse in the last couple of releases (of vanilla). I've heard that it can be corrected a lot of the time by adjusting your sensitivity in the options menu.

Yikes. No idea then man. The best I can do is recommend a fresh install of MC and the mod in case something has gone wonky.
Of course, if you have any other mods installed that may be overwriting BTW files, that could be the issue, as I have made a lot of changes to the way in which tools work as of late.

Good luck if you do end up doing it!

It didn't get posted. I never said such a thing.
Instability how?
Hmmm...any blocks in particular? Nether or Overworld? Anything specific about the circumstances that I could check out?
I haven't experienced anything like that, and haven't heard any other reports, so I'm trying to figure out if it might be situational.
