Hello to anyone out there wanting to play SMP. I am looking for 1 to 5 people to join my server. I really want a community to work together and I really want a partner to play with. Im sick of playing alone even on some BTW servers its very quiet. ppl have their own agenda's
Nothing better than having a person or 2 to share the mod with. Looking for someone who already knows a bit about the mod. I know quite abit myself. I dont mind teaching someone things but you have to be willing to look at the wiki yourself too.
I dont ask for donations or anything. Just looking for someone to play this amazing mod with. The server I have is 100% uptime. I've not seen it go down at all so its a very stable server.
Installation:
Drop the linked zip file into your "texturepacks" folder, launch Minecraft, and the select this texture pack from the textures menu. You'll also need to run MCPatcher to allow Minecraft to properly use HD texture packs. In the "Options" tab of MCPatcher, be sure to select "default" for Water, Lava, Fire, and Portal to get these textures animated.

ok i know everyone is complaining about the hardcore buckets, and it's getting old. so, i apologize in advance for adding to that.
evidently it's not so much "you can't create a water source from a bucket" as it's "water sources can't be created after the world is loaded, period."
before i get grouped in with the rest of the children, let me say a couple things; i honestly don't mind hardcore buckets, and i actually do know how to mess with the config files and whatnot. my problem is this: destroying an ice block would normally create a water source, but in this mod it doesn't. which means no poking holes into my shallow frozen lake on my tundra survival game. which means no fishing. which means i am starving to death.
the only thing i can think of is that every fix i've heard of so far has been for previous builds, and there is now a new fix? idk. help. my little dude is dying. help a brotha out.
sidenote, flowerchild, is there any possible way for hardcore buckets to not affect frozen lakes in future updates?
From what I can see, the goggles can give your HUD a bright greenish overlay. Also, when I wear them, these potion-esque particle effect emerge from the ground in dark spots, which go away when I place a light source. I presume these are areas where mobs can spawn.
Is that all they do? The price seems a bit exorbitant for something that a player's good judgement could easily replicate......

"Science isn't a matter of WHY, it's a matter of WHY NOT? WHY is so much of our science dangerous? Why don't you marry safe science if you love it so much? In fact, why don't you invent a special safety door that won't slam you in the butt on your way out? BECAUSE YOU ARE FIRED!" -Cave Johnson

Hey, if you think that's the case...more power to you. On my side, they caused me to find three "holes" in my main base which I've been playing in for a year and a half now.
Also, if you follow the BTW forums, you'll see that those "holes" are about to become a lot more dangerous, so identifying them is rather crucial.
And THAT is expensive? Gold and Ender Eyes are plentiful to anyone who has been building mob-traps in order to gain access to some of the other new content. People have actually been referring to them as rather cheap for what they do.
I have only one problem with this mod, the hardcore chests. Ender chests are quite expensive and time consuming to make so I think if someone worked hard to get the resources to make some they should earn the right to feel safe. It really isn't overpowered at all in anarchy servers since it takes alot to make it. If you think mob traps would make them easy to make well there is a problem with that. 1) you would need to get the resources to make one, 2) to control what spawns in your trap you would need a spawner and not many servers allow for moving and customizing of spawners, 3) you would need to protect your trap from people coming to steal your items. So again its alot of work to make ender chests so why make them pretty much useless?
. . . doing that is serving, so yeah . . .
And read the OP.
PLEASE I BEG YOU.

It's in BTW Config to turn off buckets/chests. You can't turn off hardcore chickens.
If you can't handle editing a config file, you probably won't like BTW since it's far more complicated then that.
Config file.
Hells no.

<sniff> I love you man!
There isn't one. I can fabricate it out of no-where, but it will be wrong, dumb, poorly written. Filled with typos and grammar mistakes.
not sure if serious but...
it's a feature called hardcore bucket
