Have you read anything Eloraam has said? For the record, almost everyone I've heard using RP2 doesn't use it exclusively. Tubes work differently than pipes, and I use them for different things. RP2 blutricity is very different than both MJ in BC, and EU in IC2. They all have different mechanics. Eloraam might be ambitious, but IC2 was NEVER about computers. That's CC.

Oh, and since FC is out for a while, Storm, do you think you could do one of two things for me? 1) mention to FC the suggestion/request below, or 2) if you don't want to do 1/you don't think it'll be worth while, could you give me your own feedback on it?
Anyway, what do you think about giving gunpowder the ability to be laid on the ground much like redstone? Then if you ignite the first gunpowder line, it'll set fire to all connected lines. Thus allowing you to detonate multiple mining charges at once/within close succession to each other.
Also, what is FC's stance on being able to synthesize gunpowder? I'm assuming he would say there is no need...
It's been suggested before, and most possible applications of it are inferior to using redstone to do the same thing - yes, redstone triggers mining charges.
Synthesising gunpowder likely won't happen; it would reduce the reward from building a mob trap, and it's a fairly 'unstable' resource compared to the hellfire dust that steve develops within the tech tree. There is a chance more explody things and burny things will be coming soon though

Also, I was trying to construct a way to automate item collection/harvesting of the grinder without using water.(cuz it was BTB and HCB is not water friendly) so do you have any optimal set ups? currently I have a system using 4 obsidian pipes and 2 are powered. it is about 80-90% efficient, but I am a bit of a perfectionist...
also, here is something I cooked up not too long ago.(I hope suggestions really don't bother you guys) I was considering that since HCB pretty much makes any attempt to use water as an automation device moot, I came up with a conveyor belt block. I have a few recipe ideas, but I really don't care as to which is used or 'best.' Basically, it acts like water in the respect that if a mob or item block lands on it, it will be conveyed across the surface and deposited at the end. It can be powered by your choice of redstone or preferably mechanical power. if mechanical, it can be powered from any of the 5 sides that do not contain the belt.
Possible recipes could include:
1 belt + rollers = conveyor's belt | 1 conveyor's belt + 1 gear box
or
3 conveyor's belt + 1 gear box + 4 wooden siding + 1 gear
etc.
what do you think? I really think it could be a useful block and still keep the feel and spirit of what BTW is.
are you using modloader and if so are you using it for the correct version

vq.class is entityplayer.class. The names have been obfuscated. It's in Minecraft.jar. This will remove the animation from the composite bow.
