i'm sure its a cool mod, but the title was kind of misleading. i see its basically an insult to wolves so its relevant in that way, but i was expecting something like wolves being smarter or wolf armor or something along those lines... just saying.

I also think that more people would like to use this mod if they could use it with the major tech mods. sorry if this has been asked before
Yeah, I'm sure they would. The thing is, popularity isn't a motivating force for me. I've actually grown rather opposed to it with time as the surge of popularity the old Yogscast video brought to the mod almost completely killed my passion for making it.
I hardly promote the mod at all anymore as a result. I'm more than happy with the size of the community surrounding the mod as it is now, and generally only regularly interact with a small portion of it that frequent the mods dedicated forums. I just don't see the benefit additional popularity would provide, and rather see a number of draw backs to it.
Love the mod. Been playing it exclusively since I first tried it back in December.
Now that I've finally got around to thanking you, I thought you would like to see some praise for your work. Jeb mentioned your mod having impressive stuff (along with buildcraft and redpower) in his Ask Me Anything on Reddit.
Thanks for spending your free time on us fans of your mod.
Thanks man! I really appreciate getting messages like this!
I saw the Jeb comment already, and was quite pleased by it.
this is by far my favourite mod for minecraft. This mod acctually got me back into playing minecraft. Thank you for all of the work that you do. After seeing your mod, I got really interested in learning Java, to make my own games. Again thank you for all the work you do. Keep up the great work.

Really excited, FINALLY got this installed with optifine/modloader/john smith texture pack. Took awhile but DEFINITELY worth it! Thanks so much!
If anyone is having issues installing the combination above, I made sure I had the 1.2.4 versions of everything, and installed modloader/btw/turned on john smith, then manually installed optifine. It seems installing optifine with MCPATCHER causes a conflict with BTW, so it has to be done manually.

does this work with computercraft? cause if it works with computercraft, buildcraft, minefactory, and industrialcraft, it would be better then best lolz

BTW is already better than best. To create a cluster**** as you do describe would be like taking ice cream, and then adding a combination of fine beef and rotted turkey to it, then blending it with some stilton. While most of the components are perfectly fine and happy on thier own or mixed together, none of them really go with ice cream.
This made me lol
Also I'm glad that BTW is incompatible with most(not all) of the forge mods because I feel like buildcraft and industrialcraft breaks the challenge that BTW provides.
There are programs such as MCnostalgia and such which allow you to backdate your jar file. Go poke around in modding discussion, there should be some info there.

You're welcome man! Thanks for taking the time to create an account to post this. Most first time posters are unfortunately trolling, so it's a nice change of pace to get something like this from one
Also happy that the mod served as a source of inspiration for your own programming efforts.
This works with clay soldiers, right? I was checking that out and though it was awesome, then wondered "Oh no, what if it breaks BTW?!" Is it only forge mods this clashes with?
Didn't say anything on this page yet. Should be a requirement.
Oh and dung should be edible even when not hungry since it is also 'junk' food.
PS - love doughnuts now (maybe a little too much)...nearly as good as golden apples. Just have to pull the sting out of my teeth after eating a bunch.
/facepalm
What about the hordes of twelve year olds screaming "UPDAET PLZ!!!11!!11!"?
Fur armor might be an idea.
Just want to say, excellent mod.

No, that wasn't it.
You called me an "asshole". No great mystery as to why people reacted negatively to that.
For future reference: it's not a term of endearment.
