I don't understand why I'm can't launch minecraft with modloader + optifine :/ I tried modloader + lots of other mods, it worked. When I try to install optifine alone, it works. But optifine + modloader (without any other mod) makes my game crash :S

If I could donate, I would, but I can't. I am excited for the sun, moon, and the stars in short and tiny render distances. Variable render distances are going to be great because my computer can use tiny, but not small render distance.
I feel like I'm waitin for a new computer or a new video game to get shipped to my house! Waiting is the worst part, but when it gets here, I'll have fun for months!!!!
Hi! When I try to run Optifine off of the Magic Launcher (this is the 1.2.4 preview) I get the following error:

there is a bug when caves or holes into mountains looks completely dark but when you come more close it suddenly be a lot brighter really wierd and annoying
please fix it
By The Way
I Love Optifine =)
Those 'shadow blocks' are actually a glitch in Minecraft's lighting code. I've seen these things ever since I started playing a year ago. Optifine has nothing to do with it, mate.
I was extremely excited to see the render slider in the latest optifine build. But when I downloaded and installed it, I noticed it doesn't go any lower than tiny. It absolutely should. Could you please make it so that the slider goes to half of tiny? Thank you!
The most recent preview lists bugs as fixed. I imagine the only reason it's not listed as finished is because he only has the core code done (and not the Multithreaded, Smooth, other-versions done). So quit whining and use the preview (or just quit whining).
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I had a mod back in Beta 1.8.1, but I quit for a while so it hasn't been updated since then. WTF <-- If you'd like to try and update it, let me know. (It won't be an easy task, I'm sure)
The 1.2.4 preview isn't satisfactory?
Here is my channel on youtube for you to look at my stuff
That's like 200 frames more than you even need.
Installed Optifine..AFTER modloder.
Works fine for me.
Still have this problem. Pure 1.2.4 jar + OptiFine 1.2.4-A2 =\
