I'm no troll, I dislike trolls... The time I posted it was when the title and the front post both said 1.5.1. I wondered if It still worked with 1.5.2... Don't go around offending people without reason.
You have to make sure that you use the correct build of Forge. It says which version of OptiFine is compatible with which build of Forge. You can get ANY build of forge at: http://files.minecraftforge.net
That'd be helpful if only I could find where it tells me that. I scanned the whole front page of the Optifine post and didn't see anywhere where it tells me that.
This slightly improves framerate for me, BUT draws things incorrectly. So parts of the landscape flicker as if see-through when using "multi-core" mode (I have a multi core CPU).
I am using this with Single Player Commands, as well as World Downloader only.
Additionally, the view distance slider isnt making any increases to the viewing distance after far. Its slowing the FPS down as if it is loading and processing them, but it isnt.
To reduce the flicker you need to turn off multi core in your graphics control settings.
Heyo... So this isn't something that's crashing my game, it's not even something the mod is breaking really but I can't seem to turn off my debug profiler(sp?) option for optifine HD A2 U and minecraft version 1.4.6... It's making the fps drop on my game drastically for some reason, and I have all my other settings set to off and/or fastest. Nothing out of the ordinary for me and my history with opti-fine(Which has been an amazing life-saver! If I could donate I totally would.) I wouldn't have been able to play the last two years without it! So I just wanted to let you know that I can't turn it off but I'm not worried bout it at all and will happily wait til it gets sorted out if. (If it's not a problem with my computer that is!)
Having same problem as above, can't turn off the profiler and have it stay turned off, if anyone knows the answer can you please PM me? Thanks in advance.
This mod literally makes it so i can play vanilla with absolutely no lag and a minimum of 30 FPS. This may not seem like much but the computer is a 2007 XP, which wasn't taken care of, i had to through the barebones of the computer to get some of the viruses out. This was just to let people know, as if they weren't already convinced, that this mod is absolutely amazing and should be gotten by everyone.
Using Optifine with Rei's minimap makes the render distance slide useless. Even on tiny, any fog will be non-existant, and will render out to the extreme setting, crashing my computer in the process. If anyone knows a way to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated, this computer is not strong enough to run minecraft without a performance enhancer.

Not sure how this is possible I visited the website and it said 1.5.1... Anyways let's just move on.

I do NOT go off half cocked! I pull the hammer ALL the way back !
